We requested an early check in and understood it could not be guaranteed however we were not too happy when a person ahead of me had no problem getting a room, the parking lot was almost empty so I doubt it had to do with people checking out late, our credit card was charged around 2:00 yet the room was not ready we finally got in at the standard check in time at 4:00. The front desk staff lacked any personality. The room was not in great shape. Corroded water supply line, rust stains on baseboards and other signs the room wasn't cared for.

Hotel's Favourite
We recently spent the week. Our room was beautiful, clean and comfortable. We had an amazing ocean view with a belcony. Every morning there was a delicious warm breakfast with different choices each day. Warm cookies were served each night. There was coffee, tea and fruit infused ice water available 24 hours a day. There were lots of places to eat, drink and shop nearby. There were 2 clean pools and a tiki bar. The only problem was the bar tenders had no personality. They usually had their own friends there and we're more interested in planning what they were going to do when they got off work. It would be great if they could have happy hour and maybe some snacks.

We had reservations at margaritaville but they overbooked and the assistant manager at night gave us an excellent rate we would like to thank Cassidy, Elena, and Heather P. they are totally awesome and we'll definitely be staying here again and the general manager Anthony is awesome as well and runs a clean ship

Upon arrival at the Hampton Inn Pensacola, the staff at the counter treated me well and even though I didn’t have a reservation I was received with a smile. My wife and I were able to get a room with a ocean view. This made staying there a memorable time in our travel back home for the weekend. The Hilton group did a great job.

In the winter, the price for the room is reasonable and worth it! We were able to see both the sunset and the sunrise the next morning from the porch overlooking the beach. In the summer you wouldn’t be able to do that but we loved it.

Things have changed a lot since we visited Pensacola Beach in 2017. The hotel that we stayed at then is no longer in business, so we reserved a room at the Hampton. Our first surprise came at the end of the toll bridge on Santa Rosa Island. We expected to pay with cash, but the signs instructed us to drive through without stopping. A camera took a picture of our license plate as we went through. We thought we were in trouble because we had not purchased a pass, but the receptionist at the hotel assured us that there was no problem, but we will receive a bill in the mail (even though we are from out -of-state). I do not know what they would do if we drove a rental car. Our second surprise came when we pulled into the hotel parking lot. There was a sign saying there is a daily parking fee. Maybe I should have known that, but somehow I did not get the memo. The fee turned out to be $15 per day. I did get the memo (by email) about breakfast. It said that breakfast would be given in a sack as a covid prevention measure. That turned out not to be the case. It was breakfast as usual, which was a good surprise. (The biscuits were very good indeed.) We had to wear bracelets on our wrists to get breakfast, which was a bad surprise. Our third-floor room on the cheap side of the hotel had a view of the bay on the other side of the highway and some lower buildings. That was probably less scenic than the Gulf side, but still surprisingly good. The room itself is quite good, even though there was one lamp that did not work and some noise filtered in from other rooms. The location is fabulous, and we enjoyed a walk on the beach in the wintry air. Altogether, we had a good stay.…

I came in the off season. The hotel staff is friendly. The room was large and airy. It has easy access to the beach. They offered breakfast with a wide variety of options. I plan to return in the near future for vacation.

We have stayed in Pensacola in the past very nice this hotel is really in need of a remodel both property & stall we encountered many at least 10 - 12 dogs the carpets in the rooms and halls are very worn & smell bad like wet dog we had to deal with dog excrement and urine in the elevator room were really dirty with hair & personal items left in room from previous guest this place is a mess very disappointed that hampton would let this place operate like this stay away

Set up through priceline for a set rate and paid. Once there they wanted card on file for stay. 2 days into 5 days there card was billed normal rate. So payed for trip twice then reimbursed for lower rate and then charged for parking.

I'd highly recommend this hotel. Rooms are well organized. Bathrooms offer lots of room for toiletries. Balconies have gorgeous views overlooking the pools and the beach. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was decent for standard hotel fare. Location was perfect, within easy walking distance of bars and restaurants. This is one of those properties that is simply comfortable, well thought-through in design, and a great place to stay. We'll definitely return to this property when in the area.
