Saw a comment about security, who needs security when you have 16 different PIN codes. Seriously, one to get in and out of the gate and building, one for the elevator (we stayed in 1703), then one to get into the room. Little stretch of a walk to the main shops if you have little ones, but doable. Pretty basic pool. 1703, nice, clean, simple. Personally not a fan of pedestal sinks as you don’t have much shelving. No dresser or drawers so you’re hanging everything. Basic cheap high top balcony furniture, would like to have a lounge seat. Tiny TV’s. Views are absolutely stunning, but I have to keep reminding myself which code to use to obtain that view.

This is my second stay at Emerald Isle. I really like the complex, however there were some very serious issues. First - there is NO security or staff. We were there a week and saw only two guys, one day, in the early morning cleaning one of the pools. There were drunks smoking and drinking in the hot tub as well kids up on the ledges running around. NO ONE came out. It made for an unpleasant time. I emailed the HOA about this but they never responded so I wrote this review.

Fantastic views! this place was awesome! It was newly renovated and had lots of extras, the beds were comfortable, the place was clean and I enjoyed the bidet. The chilled filtered water at the kitchen sink was extra special surprise! I understand that each unit has a different owner and the unit 602 was superb! I have read that some units are dated, not the case with this one. We enjoyed our beach stay very much as this is directly on the beach. I saw dolphins swim by almost daily, the blue angels flew by a couple of times right off our balcony. I highly recommend this unit. We will definite return to this unit 602.

I am here now writing this review. I rented EI 1706 from Premier. First, codes never work. Second, this condo is dirty and broken down. Newly renovated my foot. The kitchen is from 1990. The washer sounds like it is going to start spitting its parts out. The front door will not lock or shut all the way, so it whistles constantly. The balcony chairs have wholes in the seats. I am actually not going to stay here the rest of the week... Premier has gone WAY down in quality. Shockingly so. Two years ago, the BC condo was awful, too. I really used to love them.

First time visitors to this property. The beach was beautiful and steps away from the hotel. All the staff on the property were so friendly and helpful . Pool area was wonderful with plenty of seating. Would definitely stay here again except we would probably stay in a different unit. We were in 107 which needed some updates. The king bed was very very saggy on the right side, uncomfortable, and we are not picky people! I ended up sleeping on the twin bed in another room. Inside furniture and outside patio table: All needs updating. Enough said, the kitchen was totally equipped and towels/toilet paper plentiful. I just wish the bed situation was better🙁also chipped paint off the kitchen cupboards, on and off stove cooktops, uncomfortable old leather couches in the living room, needs updating.

We have stayed at Emerald Isle for years. Never an issue. This year condo 401 was so disappointing. When we entered there was a terrible smell. We found the garbage disposal full of rotting food. The seat on the toilet was not attached at all. The freezer and ice maker did not work and the tv did not work at all. I made numerous calls to maintenance and only the disposal and toilet were addressed

I will break this down with simple pluses and minuses. This was a four day stay for relaxation at a beautiful beach not-in prime season. Our condo was a 2 bed / 2 bath condominium on the 11th deck with a Gulf view balcony. The stay also included 2 beach chairs and umbrella use on the beach. There are also 2 large swimming pools, a larger 12 person hot tub and an exercise facility. + Overall facility condition + Parking Lot + After Hours Customer Service + Location proximity to food and entertainment venues + Security / Access vetting ~ Condominium condition + Cleanliness overall - Shower water pressure/ drainage - Fabrics/Cushions/Bedding condition stains, wear & tear, needing replacement) - rental customers required to wash and put away dishes kitchen items before departure. (?) - condition upon arrival - noted fingerprints on refrigerator and tables. - High fee charges that are not reflected in the condition of the condominium. Condo Charge 4 Nights $ 740 Property and Service Fees $ 300 Cleaning Fee $ 200 Lodging Taxes. $ 123. 75 Fees and Taxes almost double the cost of the stay itself. Would we stay here again ? Possibly, but not in this unit. The folks we dealt with at Paradise Rental were also very nice.

I’ll start out with the one not so good thing the front gate code, forget scanning with your phone just type your code in to get in and you will be fine besides you will need to learn this code for the beach boardwalk gate. Our two bedroom two bath condo 802 was perfect for my husband and I, I’ve stayed in many condos through the years but never have I stayed in one this awesome. It was very clean, the master bedroom bed was very comfortable, the kitchen had everything you could possibly need and more and when I say more I mean more such as salt pepper, flour, sugar, aluminum foil, saran wrap etc. My suggestion is if you use it all replace it, pass the gift of giving along. Bathrooms had hand soap, body soap, shampoo and extra toilet paper. Laundry detergent and fabric softener was also available as well as beach toys, rafts, noodles, chairs and umbrella as well as the set of beach chair & umbrella provided from the rental company. The owner provided many awesome recommendations for restaurants and things to do on the island. This is the type of rental that would be perfect for someone flying in for a beach vacation, they wouldn’t have to worry about buying chairs and toys. This owner truly provides everything you need plus an easy rental process and though we had no problems I have no doubt he would have been right on top of it had we. We will definitely be back to this one!

Whatever you do, don't stay at Emerald Isle @ Pensacola Beach They have a horrific self-proclaimed "property manager" who is running off guests. We spent $10k on 2 condos this year for the week and Glenn Dorsey (aka "property manager") called the cops on another group that was playing music at the pool at 7pm... on July 5. Literally 7pm. And the music was not loud at all. The cops were annoyed, said the self proclaimed property manager lied in his call, saying he had asked people to turn their music down and someone got aggressive. I wasn't part of the music situation but this guy is ridiculous and clearly on a power trip. The cops said the posted Emerald Isle rules are 11pm, and the noise ordinance for the city is 10pm. And they told him they couldn't make anyone turn down their music, but Glenn Dorsey still whined. This ruined our evening. We come here every year and have already reported this incident to Southern Vacation Rentals and Premiere (who say they have never heard of him) and will be moving our annual vacation to another location next year. Several other families felt the same way; it was terrible. This is annoying to cops, guests, and you will absolutely waste your money if you stay here. Highly recommend spending elsewhere. Do not stay here if you want a nice vacation. Also... there is terrible, over-assigned parking and limited elevator service

This review is for 3 out of 5 overall, or an “okay” experience. We’ve stayed at Emerald Isle a few times before, meeting other family that drive in and also stay at EI. We will go elsewhere next summer. Our unit (105) had bare minimum of everything (furniture, kitchen supplies, cleanliness). We cleaned some utensils ourselves and the transition from living area to patio was so grimy as if not cleaned in months (we cleaned ourselves). Trash can had broken lid, as did wine opener (held together with tape - still not functional). Very rusty balcony chairs and table - would not eat off it. Walls scuffed. We wore socks or sandals inside or would have dirty feet from minimally cleaned tile floors. We referred to our unit as the “Motel 6 with granite countertops.” The furniture itself was clean, comfortable and updated. There was loud construction noise Wednesday morning through late Friday morning - it started early and could be heard almost nonstop inside and even poolside. Not fun to look forward to a peaceful beach vacation and be unable to escape the sound of a jackhammer for 2+ days. There were also SO MANY door and gate codes - to the property parking lot, from lot to foyer, to the unit door, at gate returning from beach, at doors from pool to inside, and at pedestrian gate from sidewalk to parking lot - some were same, most were not and changed often. I appreciate efforts to keep it safe but the sheer number is different codes was not helpful. We went next door to the Springhill/Marriott for pool side drinks (great poolside bar and bartender Laurie) and there was not a single code! Workers removed boardwalk boards and left the area unmonitored while people were allowed to walk right through area (not roped off). Sorry to say, Emerald Isle likely had its day but it wasn’t anytime recently.
