I'm a sucker for cheap and authentic. This place was adorable. Great location - Staff was really wonderful. And despite not being a "beach" view, this place was located on the bay, The back yard/ pool area was super cute and lovely. with with free kayak and bike rentals. I'd 100% bring my future family here!
What a great place to stay. It's on the sound side of the beach but right across from the gulf side. Great location and plenty of parking. The housekeeping staff are very friendly. Your room is not cleaned until you check out but towels, etc are available. We had a dog with us and it was no problem as they are a dog friendly place. There is a place for Bar B Q's, a beach and a pool at the hotel. There are complimentary bikes, paddleboards and kayaks to check out. There is noise from the bar across the street but it quiets down pretty early.
I’m sure in the summer this place is packed. We had a room near the pool and beach access, but only there for 1 night in November just passing through. Too cold to use the bikes, surf boards and other beach amenities. Breakfast was included (waffles, cereals, juices, coffee, toast and some sausage and eggs) and a pleasant, helpful hostess. The lobby was fun and funky, the front desk agent was pleasant, but the rooms were just motel rooms. Only 2 towels and 3 wash clothes provided, no bath mat and some mold on the bathroom ceiling. The beds badly need replacing as the mattresses had serious indents on one side. They did have a cool “mirroring” app on the TV that allowed you to cast Netflix from your Bluetooth device to the TV. Probably worth about what we paid that time of year ($99), but assuming the cost is a lot more in the summer?…
We had a great stay at the surf and San Hotel. We stayed for three days three nights, and the real most perfect location was great. Price was very reasonable, and the breakfast was edible. I will be staying here again the next time I’m in Pensacola.
It's an Innisfree Hotel - so they own many parts of PCB - such as the Holiday Inn, Hilton, Hampton. So the outside doesn't look great - but the inside is very nice. The free rentals are nice. The location is across from the pier. It's quiet. For the price vs. others, it's a real winner. I'd stay again. The breakfast is clean - they have a person making waffles. But they really need yogurt - that was lacking. The breakfast - not too good - but that's why they have the Native Cafe down the street. Great property all in all.
Hotel was very clean. Breakfast was delicious. The amenities were worth it- we did kayaking and bike riding- all free with our stay. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Location was key to the beach and restaurants- within walking distance. The backyard area with the pool and patio seating was great to hang.
The property has many amenities that unfortunately I did not get the opportunity to use due to my short stay. Bikes, kayak, pool, private bay front beach looked nice. I found the property to be good but what makes it a great place are the employees. The customer service was top notch. Lisbeth in the diner handling the complementary breakfast was AWESOME!!! Roy, who checked us in, was so understanding and accommodating. The room was decently clean, beds were comfortable, shower was good and it is nice to have a refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker in the room . The only " con" was the AC was a bit loud.
The hotel has a great location which across the beach (the pier especially). They provides bicycles and kayak activities for free which is amazing. Felicia at the front desk and Elizabeth in the dining area are excellent!! Definitely will come back
It’s a motel. That said, it’s super cute. The location is beyond perfect. Literally walk across the street to the gulf and just steps from your room is their private beach on the bay. You cannot beat the location or the people. Standard two Queen room, with mini fridge and microwave. Three pillows per bed. Regular shade and blackout shade on the window. Don’t like sand on the floor, bring a broom. If you leave the room, you will bring back sand. It’s a beach town. The staff is AMAZING! Front desk was very kind and helpful. Little shop in the lobby is well stocked and reasonably priced. Decor is nice, paint is fresh. Elizabet, the breakfast hostess, is engaging and makes perfect waffles during the complimentary breakfast (be kind, tip her!). They provide kayaks and paddle boards during the day at no charge. The pool has toys to use. It also has a chair lift to get in/out of the pool, if needed. Several umbrellas between the chaises. Two covered seating areas. They have beach cruisers to use. (No charge) Guest laundry $2 wash/$2 dry - desk has quarters. Nice machines. Ice machine is in laundry area. Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in shower. Hand soap and lotion (nice!) by the sink. Highly recommend bringing your beach towels, they just can’t keep up with the demand for towels. I just washed our towels and swimsuits overnight. We Uber’d in, but if you’re parking, they charge $10/day. The landscaping is kept up and very pretty. I want to tell you it sucks so there is always a room available for me, but it is a tremendous value, safe, clean, with great people and amenities. It’s the place to go for serious fun and relaxation without breaking the bank. Make sure you enjoy a few of their sunsets on the bay.…
Please ignore negative reviews! We had a a great time. No it’s not a five star hotel however it was clean. The beds are comfy. The breakfast is amazing. Elizabet is they lady that runs it and she is awesome! She also brings out popsicles at pool in the afternoons! Kayaks and paddle boards were fun as well!
