I like a nice hotel as much as the next girl, but all I really need is a clean hotel. This was by far the dirtiest hotel I have ever set foot in.
When we first walked in, the sink had what appeared to be coffee stains in it, only they washed right out, which meant that they just hadn't been cleaned. There was a big dried booger right next to the light switch, which I have no idea how someone cleaning a room could miss. Since it was so gross, I didn't want to walk on the floor, which was laminate flooring. So when I got out of the shower and dried off, I put the bath mat on the floor and scooted over to the sink on it. After, I looked at the bottom of the mat, and it was filthy!! There is no reason why a laminated for can't be wiped down between guests. I really could go on and on about it, but suffice it to say, I would honestly rather have slept in my car. The only redeeming factor was that they let us out of our second night's stay with no questions asked, which I really appreciated. Had this room been $75/night, perhaps I would cut it some slack, but at $150/night, I at least expect a floor that I can walk on. This place is truly terrible.

Property was run down and outdated. Cleanliness was average. Plus had to threaten to call Expedia to receive accommodations booked. Expected more for the money.

NOT WORTH IT. Stayed here a while ago and i have nothing but horrible memories of it. Horrible rooms, horrible staff. Breakfast and location were ok, but other than it was horrible. Save your self a bad time and choose a different hotel.

We choose this hotel based solely on the fact that nothing else was available near the beach. This hotel is just across a busy 4 lane road from the beach and even though it looked a little run down on the outside, the location was great so we checked in. We were charged $135 a night (after a military discount) and went to find our rooms. The smell was overwhelming in our room. I can't even begin to describe it! I turned the a/c unit to fan mode hoping to bring fresh air in to the room. The floor was soo tacky feeling that I wore my flip flops constantly. The beds were like a medieval torture device. The pillows were tiny, more like throw pillows than bed pillows. The ironing board was broken and had to be laid on a table to be used.

The location was awesome for us & our two young children. Walk 2 min across from the front of the hotel to the beach, walk 5 min to the boardwalk for dinner, then relax behind the hotel gazing at the sail boats in the bay while the kids splash in the pool. The room was more than adequate for our needs, fresh towels and linens daily. We stayed 5 days. They do not have carpet, so sand is contained nicely! Unbeatable for the price! We have paid much more for much less~never again! Also, right down the beach is Fort Pickens, a must see for the kiddos, and $6 gives you a week pass to the national seashore. The Naval Museum is only 20 min away and its free admission! The breakfast they serve is cold items, cereal, donuts, oatmeal, toast, etc, with great coffee. Their private beach on the bay is beautifully laid out, with area for bbq-ing right next to the pool. The lounge will send drinks right out to you, or you can go in for a cozy date. The shower was always hot! The tub fills quickly and drains quickly, we showered at prime times and always had plenty of hot water! It was remarkably quiet in our room at night, considering the live music down the road, and after about 10:30 it was all quiet other than the occasional person walking by. The wifi was excellent. The only thing I can even think negative is they did not have a hair dryer in our room. But seriously, we never stayed out of the ocean/pool long enough to need one, so pack one if you need one. For the price, this is the best location/clean/friendly hotel we have stayed at in the entire Gulf area, and we stay in the area for a week every couple months.

We could not be more pleased with our stay. The whole ride to Florida I was so nervous about the hotel because of some of the reviews. Our room was clean, a/c worked so good that my boys were freezing, the breakfast was sufficient for my teenage sons and the staff were very friendly. Our beds were also super comfortable! Our room had a microwave and refridgerator so we were able to stop and get groceries to eat when we needed a break from the beach. The hotels sits in the heart of the island and you are within walking distance to the beach, souvenier shops and restaraunts. The pool was closed during our stay but they offered complimentary chair/umbrella rentals on the beach. If your going on a beach vacation but want to save money you will not be disappointed with this hotel.

Check-in as extremely easy, and the front desk attendant was very friendly. He gave us invaluable information about which beaches to go to. The first thing I noticed upon entering the room was the smell of lemon cleaner - a good sign for sure! Only 3 towels for the 5 of us, but they were easily obtained at the front desk. All of the linens were very clean and the beds were comfortable. Nice, modern flat-screen tv. The only gripe I had with the room was with the carpet...my daughter's feet were filthy after running around a few minutes. I attribute this to the beach location - it's probably next to impossible to keep clean with constant wetness/suntan lotion, etc. Standard breakfast (doughnuts, cereals, oatmeals, toast, fruit), but it suited my family's needs. Quiet & safe location. We didn't use the pool until the last day, but the pool area was very ice, and the small bayside beach area was very nice. I got 4 nights, Monday-Thursday night for $361 total. This was an absolutely unbelievable deal for the quality of the hotel and the location - right in the middle of Pensacola Beach! I would love to stay there again on a future visit!

At walking distance (just cross the street) from the white sandy beach you’ll find the affordable Travelodge. You know what you’re going to get: a spacious room, spacious bath room/sink area, clean sheets and wifi. Well that’s all you need for one night, or two. If you are planning an extended stay you might want to check other hotels, but you will have to pay accordingly. Since you won’t be doing much more than sleep, why pay more? Walking distance to the beach is from every hotel angle quite the same. Only to the restaurant of your choice, you might take the car, depending on the weather! Would definitely stay here again.

After reading the negative reviews of this hotel I was very nervous about what this hotel was relly going to be like. This is defientely not a 5 star resort. It was just okay. The hotel is in a perfect location right across from the beach and next door to a restaurant/bar.
This place could use some updates and repairs. Our room on the second floor looked out over the bay and the hotels private little beach area. Our room had some peeling paint in the bathroom and the bathroom door was peeling away at the bottom. The TVs are old and outdated although they did have a good variety of TV channels. I would stay here again for the price and location. If you dont care about luxury and being pampered ths is the perfect hotel for you.

We appreciate you taking the time out of your schedule to submit a review. We are not a five star hotel nor do we try to portray to be. We like to work with what we have which is a five start location and an excellent staff. During our down season we like to take advantage of the down turn in business and do things like repaint the rooms and touch them up for the next busy season. Our private beach area is a quaint little area that’s great for relaxing after a long day of site seeing. We hope to see you again in the near future.
