Very pricy and felt like packed into sardine can. Not good place for big rigs. Florida panhandle beaches are pricing themselves out of family affordable. Paying over $100. Per night is terrible compared to hotel. Will return our RV stays at Top Sails.

Fort Pickens is full of history and fun. Lots of different programs set up by the workers. Has plenty of camping areas and even has it's own small grocery. The scenery is absolutely epic. There is, also, an are for snorkeling or diving. It is a place for all ages. I go there often to photograph the scenery and the...

Loved camping here! We were in B-4 which had ample area to pitch our tent and spread out. The beach is just a short walk away and was gorgeous! From our site we could fall asleep to the sounds of the waves crashing on the beach. We grilled out turkey and cooked out Thanksgiving feast over an open fire. The...

I went to take my family from California to see Ft. Pickens on Friday, November 18th. The red-headed male employee at the main entrance gate was rude and responded with a smart aleck remark when I asked him a simple question. I immediately turned around and left. It was very disappointing to me and my family.

This park was lovely. A bit of a drive to get into the park but worth it because the beach was hardly used and many areas were completely deserted. Also the shoreline is free of condos, hotels and high rises. When walking at the tip of the island around the beach at Fort Pickens you can see families of dolphins...

We stayed in Loop B and had a very enjoyable site - 13. It was an end spot so we were not squeezed in. Our pop up trailer and pick up truck fit the site well. Very friendly and helpful rangers and camp hosts. Clean and new bathrooms. We watched the Blue Angels each day as they practiced. We have...

First visit to Ft. Pickens and brought the 5vr over for 4 days to walk the beach and fish from the kayak. Have been disappointed that there is not a convenient place to launch it - 100+ yards is the closest but in the soft sand is a hike. (85lbs) The park is clean and especially reasonable if you have...

Me and the family really loved Fort Pickens campground. The campsites may have been a little close together but it wasn't that bad at all. Water faucets and electrical outlets on site if that's a concern.Restrooms and bath houses were in pretty good shape. The beauty of Fort Pickens campsite is that is very close to a lot of virtually unpopulated...

We camped here for 3 days in a tent in October. The B loop is for tents. I would recommend B4 first, the B5 and 6. These are large and more private than many of the other sites. The RV sites were close together without much shade. Some reviews have complained about the bathrooms but I thought they were fine....

The campground was very pleasant and so were the bathrooms. We got in late afternoon and cherished every minute! The beach was perfect, not crowded and the sandbar was awesome. We saw 3 armadillos, caught little crabs, jelly fish, sea snails, rode bikes, flied kites and enjoyed the most beautiful sunset. On our way back from the beach (it was...
