The lady who runs this place is very friendly and - despite a small language barrier (she speaks German and Italian) - we communicated very well. She recommended excellent restaurants and things to do, which made our time very enjoyable.

It was a brief but memorable stay. Beautiful, spacious grounds. Rooms were spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished, and linens were gorgeous. Bath toiletries smelled wonderful. A hearty breakfast was served by the lady of the castle. - a very personal touch. Lots of areas to sit and relax in. There is a fabulous wine cellar with a staggering collection of wines....

+ perfectly located in Appiano along the Strada del Vino + beautiful old castle with partly original furniture + newly renovated rooms that are furnished with lots of love (I.e. Pianist Suite) + good value for money - new rooms partly a bit kitsch - you always have to leave premises to do stuff, e.g. no proper hangout area in...

Found this Gem surfing the internet one night. We stayed two nights. We had a suite and our friends had a Standard room, both were incredible. Very comfortable, well decorated. The hostess is such a warm and welcoming lady. We truly felt welcomed. She gave us a tour of the various rooms. The history here is just so amazing. The...

Recently my wife and I stayed at this beautiful B&B in Eppan. We had a nice room with a double bed, very cozy and comfortable. The bathroom (wc, shower stall, sink and enough shelf space) was a little on the small side but enough for the two of us. The breakfast buffett boasts homemade cakes and fruit jams besides everything...

We truly loved our stay at Schloss Paschbach. The old parts of the castle were very interesting to explore, while the rooms were very modern and comfortable. Bathrooms were a nice size and very clean and updated. Beds were large and comfortable, and furnishings throughout the rooms were very nice. We had a standard room for 2 and a villa...

We stayed june 2013 and were first occupants of new suite on the ground floor. This contained spacious sitting room (sofa bed) with tv, side tables etc; bathroom with wc, bidet, sink and shower and spacious double bedroom with dual aspect windows. Probably best sleeps we had in our two-week trip. Outside then were two lounger type chairs and side...

This was a very special stay, and something quite different from the norm for Australians like us. Schloss Paschbach is a "castle" dating from the 13th century, but now a comfortable, modern B&B that retains many of its historical features, including public rooms hardly changed from the sixteenth century. It also has associations with the classical pianist Arturo Benedetti Michelangeli,...
