Wonderful place, gorgeous rooms and a warm welcome. This hotel is in a superb location with wonderful grounds, lovely views. It's close to many interesting local places, including lots that will be of interest to families. Quentin was always helpful and gave us good advice about places to visit. When we discovered a tiny leak in our first bedroom, he... More

Spent 3 nights in this amazing chateau. Very clean. So beautiful. A beautiful view of a medow from the large window. We took Chambre rose - which was quite modern and yet kept the elegance of the old century. An antic bath tub next to a modern shower. The chateau itself was truly an amazing walk in the past. As... We selected the Amboise area because of its central location. We selected Chateau des Arpentis because of its highly rated Trip Advisor reviews. Why go to chateau country and not stay in a chateau? Unless you don't have a car, we didn't see ary reason to stay in the actual town itself. The Chateau is a few miles outside the... More

As I write, we are staying at the Chateau des Arpentis for two days. Everything is extremely comfortable and the Chateau is well restored. Beds are comfortable, and the room has all the amenities that one would wish, in an atmosphere of a country chateau. The Chateau is not large, barely ten bedrooms, each with a different name. Breakfast is... More

Am staying here as I write in Quentin & Aymeric so guess had better be a bit careful!! But no real need! This is a place of character and should be accepted as such. Aircon is on with fans as its a blistering day of 34 degrees. Aircon in a slightly strange place in front of a very hot window!... More

We had a delightful stay in late July 2016. Our room was beautifully done and comfortable. The pool setting is as stunning as it looks in the photos. The Chateau has a lot of character and history yet it has also been significantly updated with an elevator and decent air conditioning. The breakfast was great (typical in France) and it's... More

We had a wonderful stay in a two room family suite (Quentin & Aymeric) at Chateau des Arpentis. Our room was absolutely beautiful and perfect for a family of four. The location of the property is breathtaking and it is surrounded by a moat. We could see wild horses frolicking in the meadow from our window. We spent one day... More

We booked a two room family suite. It was an amazing place to stay. The breakfast was wonderful; fresh baked goods, good coffee. The hotel does not serve lunch or dinner but they have this amazing outdoor kitchen right by the pool. You can bring food and/or cook meals there and eat by the pool. They also have laundry facilities... More

My friends and I stayed at this enchanting former hunting lodge, which has been renovated to be a very comfortable lodging. The rooms were each decorated differently, I stayed in the Blue Chamber which had a queen bed, dresser, closet and small sitting area, looking at the beautiful view. The bathroom was quite roomy for France, with the excellent touch... More

My husband, friends, and I loved staying at this chateau. The location was great -- quiet and with beautiful grounds, but within 10 minutes of Ambroise and its sites and many restaurants. Our rooms were huge with lots of places to put things and we enjoyed the pool with its comfortable loungers and large table. One of the things we... More
