This was our second Shearings stay at Hotel Jagerhaus, which is full of character,,both in the buildings and the family which runs it. After a few days it feels like visiting friends and Margarete and her team show their indivual flair - and it works to a high standard. The staff have been here for a long time and do...

Well what can I say. Never had such a lovely time. Margaret was so unfriendly she was the talk of the week. Saying that she and all the staff work very hard. The room was spotless at all times, Ours was spacious and beds two twins that could be used apart or together. Bathroom very easy with a shower and...

Yes the hotel is nice and clean. Yes the food is lacking in quantity. Yes Margaret can be offhand but my does she work hard, as do all the staff. Good 3 star hotel with old fashioned but quirky bar. Not everybody will like the place but it is what everyone says- value for money.

Just returned from a weeks holiday with Rai Discoveries. Hotel did not have a/con or a fan in the rooms. As it was very good weather when we were there, it was difficult to leave the window open because of mosquitoes. Many on our group suffered from bad bites. The room was very clean, and made up quickly. Great to...

Spent the week here on organised tour. Very clean comfortable rooms, nice hotel, station nearby to get to many places once you conquered the ticket machine. Food was good, bbq on friday had sufficient tasty food. Staff were all polite and friendly. WIFI was good.

We have just spent a week in this hotel whilst on a holiday with Rail Discoveries. Rooms adequate and spotlessly clean, Towels could do with updating grey, hard and small but changed every day. Stayed half board and was glad we ate lunch out as the portions at night were small, and you daren't ask for more as Margaret would...

A basic hotel that has a need to update as the rooms are a bit dated but still comfortable, clean and quite. The public areas are new and modern and a nice cosy bar well appointed, the staff are welcoming and happy to help, they make your stay very good. I would say should the room was more updated it...

I can't add much to the other reviews. Good size comfortable rooms, limited choice of food and drink but what there was was good. Staff friendly with the one exception (she did occasionally smile when she thought nobody was looking), and all hard working.
