Great facility with proper maintenance, Sheik tents are great with private bathrooms, kids enjoy bathing in roofless bathroom and the whole facility s architecture is quiet good, Kids pool is good for afternoon or evening dip.

Really great experience in glamping - the test were well appointed, and showering with no roof i a great experience ( and any other ablutions you may have). Dinner in the evening was good enough. BYO alcohol .... so pack a few bottles Only negative - like so many of the beauty spots on Oman, the locals seem to treat...

We stayed in the 1000 nights camp in a sheikh tent, very comfortable, and with a lovely night sky view from the toilet. The camp has a nice building with a very good restaurant (buffet style) a small swimming pool with a non-alchohol bar. The space between the tents and other accommodation is plenty, and of course a stay in...

Had a lovely stay at this camp. Our sheik tent was great and the open roof shower was fun. The food was good, but very inspired by India. We climed the dune and saw the sunrice, as the sun appered over the great dunes. Was very peaceful and lovely. Dont forget to bring Cash, as they do not take visa....

Where to start? We were looking forward to a night in the desert after reading the favourable reviews – a night in the desert under the stars. In reality, we were sucked in by the glowing reviews on Trip Adviser; this is an overpriced under-maintained tourist trap. Pros: practically none; golf carts for your baggage and the elderly. Cons: 40...

Reception was very friendly and efficient with a good glass of tea and some dates. The tent was surprisingly spacious and comfortable with good big beds. Room and bathroom very clean. The bathroom is an experience as it has no roof and is open to the sky. There is even a small swimming pool with nice cool water. Breakfast and...

We stayed 1 night in a tent w its own bathroom. There are very high level directions on their website to find the camp but we got lost driving 4x4 through the desert - however this is all part of the experience! The accommodation is good (too hot to be in during the day but comfortable bed and electric lights);...

This is not luxury in any form. Buffet style dinner and breakfast means you all turn up at the same time and the bun fight happens. All a little disorganised. We stayed in the Amara tents, very big and a/c fit for the desert heat. Camel ride is a must but do it at 7am before it gets hot. Staff...

This is a great camp for a desert night stay. However, when adding extra activities (eg. camel ride, dune bashing, Bedu visit) make sure to get the agreed price in WRITING upfront, as in our experience the price upon checkout turns out much higher than verbally agreed. Remember that it is much less hassle to get this properly sorted out...
