We booked for a stay in September, cheekily shaving off a couple of days at start of school term so we could get more affordable flights and holiday package. Being school age, our kids were amongst the oldest there at 7 and 10, since most of their peers were already heading back to school. Villa Pia is very well known...

We visited Villa Pia for a week in August with our 5 and 6 year olds and all of us had the most wonderful time. It's a magnificent site with glorious views all around and we loved the chilled, rustic vibe of the main site. In fact we spoke with other families about how nice it was not to have...

Starting with the positives, Villa Pia is set in a beautiful location, offers great food on an all inclusive basis, and has excellent hard-working staff. Our children are 2 and 5, and they enjoyed the swimming pool, trampoline, swings and other outdoor play equipment. However, the rough gravelly terrain and steep hills meant that they could not be left unsupervised,...

Many thanks for taking the time to post a review , I am so pleased you enjoyed the food and the dedication of the staff . So this was our second stay at the delightful villa pia, having stayed there two years ago when our daughter was 2. Very little has changed, and it was comforting to see familiar sights and faces as soon as we pulled in. Once again we hired a car from Bologna and absorbed a lifetime of adrenaline rushes in two hours...

I have a 2 year old and a 4 year old and was starting to wonder if it was possible to enjoy a holiday ever again. Villa Pia is wonderful, the first time in parenthood i ever felt like i had a holiday. Kids adored it. I adored it. Wife adored it. Cannot praise highly enough.

We have just returned from a week at Villa Pia.We have two daughters 5 and 3 and I would say that their age is the sweet spot for what Villa Pia can offer. They had an absolute ball. They made a lot of good friends and all the children (of which there were MANY) played beautifully together. From the pool...

I just returned for on a few days stay at villa Pia as part of a group stay for single parents that had been bereaved. Everyone at the villa were so helpful and accommodating I would recommend it to anyone. It was my first trip as a single parent and they had everything covered. They arranged transfers for us (with...

We visited Villa Pia for the first time in May last year, not knowing what to expect. What we found was actually better than we had hoped for, which isn't something I write every day! The farm house and grounds are stunning and the staff are wonderful. We were the only people staying that week which felt strange for a...

What a wonderful place to holiday as a family with everything needed on site to make it as stress free as possible for parents and grandparents. Activities galore amidst a very relaxed atmosphere in an enchanting part of Italy. The staff obviously love children and nothing is too much trouble for them to do when asked. The dinners at night...

“The Palazzo is a 2 minute walk from the main villa and can be good for older children - rooms huge with spectacular views. Each room has its own particular charm.”

“Pallazzo Regina very spacious and a bit quieter, rooms at either end of corridor in main house quieter generally, but you can get people allowing there children to wander and be noisy from very early in the morning and sound does travel along the corridor.”
