Whilst the service in the restaurant was excellent the food on the whole was very average. The accommodation was as expected but the noise from the caged dogs close to the camp site throughout the night ensured sleep was hard to achieve throughout our stay.

We stayed here with our caravan for 9 days in July 2015. Our arrival was memorable insofar we got stuck with our car and van on the very steep approach to the site through Castelvecchio but with the aid of some kind locals and the very helpful staff at Il Collaccio we were towed by the one of camp's jeeps...

Really super camp site. Very well equipped and beautifully clean including warm free showers. Just watch out for the lack of loo roll in the toilets though! Fantastic location on the edge of the sibylline mountain. Good cafe. Wifi on site just 9euros for a week.

Beautiful location, clean facilities, stunning views, fantastic restaurant, very helpful staff... What more can I say! .... But keep it quiet!!! Umbria is a lovely part of Italy . Food and wine are extremely good and great value. If you are lucky enough to stay here, book a cooking class with Ida!

Have just got back from a holiday staying in a safari tent at Il Collacio booked through Eurocamp. It has been one of our best family holidays ever, and we have all thoroughly enjoyed our time in the beautiful Preci (even our two teenage girls) The facilities are very good and the on site restaurant does some amazing food for...

A campsite not to be missed if you are anywhere in Italy. Situated in a beautiful area of Umbria, just within the Monte Sibilini National Park, with most pitches having superb views across the majestic mountains of the area. (Some pitches a little small, and not all are easily accessible, so arrive early, or book). Good for couples and families,...

This is lovely site with a number of pitches for tents/caravans, some eurocamp caravans & safari tents, apartments, bungalows, & a small hotel. We booked through eurocamp but you can stay for half the price in alternative accomodation (bungalows/apartments) if you book direct with hotel. The whole family really enjoyed our stay, despite some heavy rain. Great food in restaurant...

We stayed at Il Collaccio w/c 3rd August 2015. We stayed in one of the Chalets for 4 people and it suited us perfectly. Our 2 daughters (aged 3 and 5) slept upstairs in the cozy loft space. The campsite has a stunning location with extraordinarily beautiful views, is extremely well kept and the staff are very friendly and helpful....

This must be our third stay at Il Collaccio and I wouldn't rule out a fourth visit sometime in the future. It's simple, comfortable, clean accommodation up in the mountains with spectacular countryside and charming towns to visit. We always stay in the Locanda (hotel) but there are apartments, chalets and a campsite as well. The rooms are sparkling clean...

At Il Collaccio, hospitality is a family business! Situated in the middle of the Sibillini Mountains National Park, Il Collaccio is an ideal place for people who enjoy nature, beautiful scenery and great local food"In the beginning it was just a simple farm on a hillside. In 1987, work began on transforming the farm in to an agriturismo. The main farmhouse was converted in to a restaurant, bar, shop and reception. A camping area was created on terraces on the hillside and later and in succession, bungalows, chalets, apartments, swimming pools and sports facilities. ... more   less
