Sometimes trusting your gut really pays off. Italian seafood with a modern flare is always a winner. The baccala starter was a well presented yet solid dish, the spaghetti con cicale (translated as "crickets", they look like flat spiky scampi) was scattered with a pistachio crunch that added texture and intrigue and the grilled prawns and scampi with pinzimonio (olive... Recently we stayed two nights in Quercianella. This small Tuscany sea side village was a bit dull and passed its hay day glory many years ago. Therefore finding this restaurant was very unexpected and refreshing. The crew was welcoming and attentive staff from the first moment onwards. The wine list is spot on with quality local products tuned to the... More

Not bad food however too expensive for what they offer. Nice service, nice place with superb view. Carbonara was not bad, lasagna not the best choice. Not sure if would recommend but when tired after visiting san gimignano just before the leave you can eat.

We had already noticed the beautifull location of the restaurant of the hotel Belsoggiorno situated on a terrace overlooking the sea and we had asked to be able to make dinner reservations. Although the initial appearance can seem simple and familiar is worthy of note to underline the attention and care place in the hearth of staff while explaining the... More

Slept 2 nights in this Hotel and had lunch in their restaurant. Honestly it's not possible to say it's a bad place or restaurant isn't good, but in my opinion it's too expensive for what they offer. I had a single room and it was really small and railway very close doesn't help you to have relaxing sleeping. Breakfast was... More

...Visiting Tuscany we went to Florence and after three days full immersion of art and museums my wife and I decided to go to discover the Tuscany sea side. We spent three nights at Bel Soggiorno hotel in Quercianella, a small village located a few Km south of Leghorn. The hotel is next to the sea with a private access... More
