We stayed at Wild Mahseer for 2 days, starting March 24, and it was a disappointing experience. We are wildlife/nature enthusiasts and stayed at this place with the intent of visiting Nameri national park. The folks at Wild Mahseer did not have any useful information to offer related to Nameri. The accommodation was spacious, but not worth the steep price...

Dear Guest, At the outset, we would like to thank you for your feedback on Trip Advisor. We appreciate your views and your feedback which enables us to improve and monitor our quality and operations. As mentioned by you, in your review about the juice pack, which passed the expiry date, we constantly monitor expiry dates of products in our...

Don't waste your time coming here unless you want to visit the nearby Nameri national park. The sales manager who takes your bookings is located in Mumbai (as we found out later) and there's absolutely no coordination between him and the operational guys on location. We had problems with our transport, and no arrangements were made, as promised, for us...

We assumed the car sent to pick us up at the Guwahati airport, organised by the hotel, would know where we were going. Wrong - he took us to Orang national park and then after some phone calls, google maps and wrong turns we landed up at the lodge about 2 hrs later than expected. At the gate we were...

I enjoyed 3 days at wild mahseer last weekend and had a wonderful time. Location: it's about a four hour drive from Gwahati airport (Tezpur airport isn't open in the winter) and 90 minutes from the Kaziranga wildlife preserve. Nearby attractions: When my tour guide didn't show up, a member of the wild mahseer staff took me through some of...

We stayed at wild mahseer (WM) because we wanted to visit Nameri national park. We loved staying here. The experience is unique and meant for those looking for unconventional stay options (not high rise hotels with arranged activities and indoor games for children). Once inside the property, there is nothing much to do, except take walks in the property and...

Wild Mahseer was exactly as I pictured it to be - an oasis of beautiful green tranquility surrounded by verdant Tea Estates. Supreme solitude and peace! The beautiful Bungalows with their carefully recreated colonial furnishing and large rooms were very comfortable and staffed around the clock. Meals, whether in the Bungalows or the cheerful "First Flush" lounge were excellent with...

The Wild Mahseer tries to sell you Raj nostalgia: every cottage comes with its live-in staff. Unfortunately basic things do not work. When we drove up to the gate we had been in constant contact with a manager for ten minutes to ask for directions. In spite of this, the security at the gate did not know that we were...

When arriving after a long journey at what is supposed to be a lovely place basic hospitality dictates the offer of a drink not booking problems & paperwork. Before setting off on another long journey basic hospitality at this price also dictates the possibility of a hot shower. The staff are delightful, the food good & the rooms pretty. I...

This was one truly classy place we visited in December, 2014. I had taken 20 students for a Geography Field trip to the Brahmaputra basin and I had booked Wild Mahseer, just by checking the internet! And what a pleasant surprise it was!! The place is like a gem in the wilderness, away from all hustle and bustle. We took...
