We rented a 4 wheel drive vehicle in Managua so were able to navigate the long lane leading up to the hotel. We had a lake front cabana which was beautiful with a large, luxurious bathroom, very large deck, and rather small bedroom. The local people were fishing with nets in the lake in front of us and there were...

This place is near the beach but also has plenty of jungle around it. The rooms were nice and had great mattresses. Wifi was very spotty. The food was good but a bit pricey. We gave up using the hotel for help on services. It was easier to just do it ourselves after several attempts. It's also far off the...

I loved my stay here!! The food at dinner, lunch and breakfast was always very nice, however I would recommend diluting the orange juice with water I found it a bit bitter, but then again I'm not use to drinking it! The rooms were incredible with 2 double beds in, the wifi was also very strong which helped to keep...

Very nice hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Excellent location with nice views on the beach and islands and facilities. It was the best and most special hotel we had on our round trip in Nicaragua.

We stayed at the Finca/farm for two nights. Peaceful place located almost on the beach. Its some distance to the nearest town, but there is a restaurant and bar there. It closes around 10 pm. We did not see many guest when we stayed there. You'll need to rent a car/bike or order a guide tour to see the Island....

This is my third time I stay at San Juan de la Isla (July 2015). They have added the beach bungalows that look fantastic. The bar and cuisine are also new for me. The hospitality of the employees is excellent. It is a wonderful experience to stay at San Juan de la Isla where you enjoy nature in a peaceful...

This vacation destination is located on a 200 acre part of this lovely island. We stayed in a room with two queen size beds and two bunk beds we didn't even need. The atmosphere is wonderful with beautiful architecture, fabulous food and amazing views of Lake Nicaragua. The first night we arrived, I posted on my FB page "Ometepe is...

My husband, my 8-year old son, and I stayed at Finca San Juan de la Isla for 2 nights and what a gem! I HIGHLY recommend staying in one of the log cabins overlooking the beach. They are just adorable, super clean, and well appointed. Plus they’re raised on stilts so you have a wonderful deck and view overlooking the...

All those rave reviews from the last few years still hold true- the place is lovely, clean, well maintained, friendly, good food, comfortable rooms with working air conditioning, and wonderful swimming at a black sand beach with a long stretch of shallow water and strong breezes. Both volcanos are seen from the water making for lovely sunrises and sunsets. The...
