I've stayed here mainly because a lot of other travelers recommended this place. It's really great set up in the forest and beautifully made. It's quite relaxing but i didn't think it was that great as everyone recommended. But maybe i was just expecting too much. I mainly think the service could be better. We were welcomed very nice at...

I came for a few days and stayed two weeks, slept in the Ormiga dormitory with few of the volunteers and felt very soon like a family with this charming international community :-) They have a "mirador" - view watch tower, that entered my list of 7 favorite places on the planet - it is that seriously beautiful.. The Yoga...

If you are looking for a place to chill and hang out with new people El Zopilotte has it all. Nice and cosy area around the restaurant where you can hang out. I stayed in a private cabin with my girlfriend. It was a really cosy one apart from all the mosquitoes and flies. So bring your repellient and maybe...

Well it was an interesting stay. The locations is a bit of a killer, a good 10 minutes walk up to the reception which is entirely uphill and at points quite steep especially if you're carrying heavy bags. From the reception you might be lucky and be placed a little downhill, if not there's plenty more to climb before you...

I stayed here for 10 days, so apparently I liked it enough, but I still haves mixed reviews. Pack your patience because the reception is SLOW and unorganized. They don't speak much English, so it's best to know a little Spanish. The system is inconvenient, you can't keep a tab for your food and drinks, so you have to pay...

We stayed in El Zopilote for 5 nights in Nov. As soon as we got there, I really liked the atmosphere and the setting is beautiful. What they are doing there is also really impressive. There are a few food options and it is delicious. The accommodation is good but basic so not for those who like creature comforts at...

Stayed here for 10 days. The place is very chilled but action packed at the same time. Free yoga is offered twice a day and there's lots to do around the place. Big shout out to Amalia, receptionist, for being so helpful and generally awesome. Btw, I checked in at the same time as someone who wrote a bad review:...

The atmosphere is very good here and so is the food. People are friendly and there are plenty of options to stay here. 3us if you bring your own hammock and 16us for a private room. More free spirits here so thats fun from time to time.

This hostel was in a nice area I must admit, lots of greenery and a relaxing vibe. However, it was a 10 minute uphill walk on a rocky/muddy path to reception from the road, & then our dorm was another 10 minute walk up through the bush away from everything. Although it was nice, we found it too inconvenient to...
