We stayed in El Zopilote for 5 nights in Nov. As soon as we got there, I really liked the atmosphere and the setting is beautiful. What they are doing there is also really impressive. There are a few food options and it is delicious. The accommodation is good but basic so not for those who like creature comforts at...

Stayed here for 10 days. The place is very chilled but action packed at the same time. Free yoga is offered twice a day and there's lots to do around the place. Big shout out to Amalia, receptionist, for being so helpful and generally awesome. Btw, I checked in at the same time as someone who wrote a bad review:...

The atmosphere is very good here and so is the food. People are friendly and there are plenty of options to stay here. 3us if you bring your own hammock and 16us for a private room. More free spirits here so thats fun from time to time.

This hostel was in a nice area I must admit, lots of greenery and a relaxing vibe. However, it was a 10 minute uphill walk on a rocky/muddy path to reception from the road, & then our dorm was another 10 minute walk up through the bush away from everything. Although it was nice, we found it too inconvenient to...

The location is fun, natural. Good view. But the receptionist lied to us and put us in a dorm when she clearly said to the four of us that we were going to share two privates. The dorm took us a proper hike of 15 minutes on a muddy "path" with backpacks. Then the surprise. when we went back to...

Nice food, nice setting, great yoga and great pizzas all for a very decent price. Our cabana however was very dirty and rickety The stairs were so steep we actually didn't dare to go to the toilet at night for fear of falling down. The bed was very dirty, soggy and moist. The cabana was very warm and there was...

Beautiful place. Food was delicious, especially in the pizzeria on tues and Saturday! Free yoga with Dana was amazing. While we were there the hostel was having a dispute with a local cafe owner which left a bit of a bad taste as it was getting nasty! It made us question the ethos of the el zopilote owners. Cannot fault...
