Recently we celebrated 2 people turning 60, with a group of 46 friends and family, including 6 children, with some able to lounge back on a bean bag after their dinner, or amuse themselves with hermit crabs, while adults continued to socialise. The food was superb, as was the service, allowing the whole evening to flow in a relaxed manner, on the sunset side of this beautiful island. Thank you Philip and your team - we will be back!

Manuia is simply wonderful. Fabulous staff (especially Victor). 10 out of 10. The only thing that let's it down is the OTB restaurant which is very ordinary. We loved our stay there and would recommend to anyone wanting peace, quiet and luxury

We loved this resort ! The views from our beachfront room were fantastic, the outdoor chairs comfortable along with the bed. The continental breakfast was great with gluten free bread and cereal, the option of ordinary milk, Almond milk or and Soy milk which impressed us. All the staff were super friendly ! Max in the bar was brilliant , all the dinner staff and breakfast staff were super friendly as well as the house keeping ladies we chatted too. The receptionist was very friendly as well. The gardens are stunning and really add to the ambiance of the place. We at the resort every night as the food was great and they took your drink orders straight away , not like the other resort we stayed at afterwards, when we waited 20 minutes. The food too came out quickly so well done to the people in the kitchen. The General manager Ross hosted a cocktail hour or so which was really nice as we got to meet and chat with other guests . This was our 12th stay in Rarotonga over the last 20 years and have tried lots of the resorts and this is the first time we have seen this done. Finally the owner Richard took the time to chat to us and that has never happened to us anywhere else either. We highly recommend !!

Stayed here for 12 days and found the resort to be so relaxing and the villa with the outdoor shower was awesome! Spacious rooms with great outdoor lounging area, perfect for curling up with a good book! The pool is very refreshing and the loungers are great. The property has sand paths that are raked at least once a day, and the gardens are vibrant and well maintained. The daily tropical breakfast is a bit basic but there is the option of ordering a la carte for a cost. OTB restaurant is excellent but you must book in advance. All the staff were fantastic and always accommodating any request. Highly recommend the Manuia and will definitely be back ❤️

Comfortable beds, single story garden bungalows real close to a beautiful beach protected by outer reef. Week we were there was quite windy and surf was wild crashing on the reef but resort was quite sheltered. Nice pool setting and on The Beach restaurant food and service very good. Freshly raked sandy paths between all facilities and staff super friendly and efficient.

This is an easy resort to stay in. Rooms are single level and every room is close to the beach. Yep probably be great to have beach front room but I didn’t think ours which was 3 rows back I think was a problem. Our room was very clean and housekeeping was done every day in good time. The staff around the resort were all extremely friendly and helpful. Hubby didn’t like the outdoor shower he found that weird, and I’m not sure how it would go if it was bucketing down. There is no tv or radio in rooms, at first we found that strange but then started to talk to each other lol. Wifi was pretty bad but the last 2 days of our stay they changed it and it’s now free and much better all round the resort. The restaurant is amazing, we never had a bad meal. I thought the breakfast which is included was great, fresh fruit, yoghurt, toast, cereals , juice, coffee/tea and even pancakes. You can pay for cooked options. There is a car hire place over the road and also a store. You can walk to a few other restaurants in each direction within 10 mins. The pool is lovely and the whole area is peaceful and pleasant to enjoy. Manuia have some resort activities like ukulele lessons, mystery tour and drop off to the Saturday market. Very pleasant and enjoyable stay.
