This was our first visit to The Cook Islands. We came on the recommendation of our travel agent. We wouldn't hesitate to visit the beautiful Rarotonga and the beautiful people there again. We spent a week in a garden bungalow The Pros - the resort is in a beautiful place. The beach is lovely and the poolside area is lovely.... More

Kia Orana Joanne Thanks for your comprehensive review which is really helpful. Some great tips for people and pros and cons. Great to hear the staff were friendly and that you enjoyed the food - awesome! We stayed for a couple nights recently at Manuia Beach Resort. We didn’t really find any faults as such, but we didn’t feel wowed either. When paying $400-$600 per night we were hoping to find something special at Manuia Beach Resort – but felt a little underwhelmed. The rooms were just okay… more like simple motel-style units. Wifi was bad... More

We first stayed at Manuia Beach 12 years ago. Love the location so close to the beach on the sunset side of Rarotonga, spacious tiled rooms and outdoor showers, lovely staff and no children policy. Have returned 3 times since, the most recently last month.

May daughter and I stayed 4 nights at the Manuia resort. The place is beautiful, great rooms right in front of the ocean. When I booked I didn't know that this was an adult only resort (they could advertise that more clearly and not leave it to booking.com fine print) but having my 13 years old daughter was not a... Kia Orana Francesco Thanks so much for your great review and we loved meeting you both! I have now advised booking.com to make it a bit clearer and checking other sites to make sure they can see it more clearly rather than being in the fine print! Thanks again! Kind Regards Sue Fletcher-Vea More

We had only one night. The villas are clean and quaint. We had a garden view which was lovely. Beach is on a beautiful lagoon sunset side. Nice infinity pool with barefoot bar and restaurant. Food wasn't the best, but there are restaurants close. Staff was helpful and nice. Overall a decent experience and would have no problem staying again.

I run group retreats and chose Manuia resort for our 1 week stay in Rarotonga. I am always very careful which resort I pick as I have a total of 14 guests to satisfy, who only expect the best. A small hotel in Rarotonga, only 24 rooms. Great views of the Rarotongan sunsets. We stayed in room 13, it was very private, surrounded by beautiful flowers and plants. This is an adult only hotel, but there were children in the restaurant.
