Time really stands still in this lovely surrounding where you can relax after a day exploring the fantastic environment and return to your cosy place. The hosts do litterally everything to make your stay great in an authentic service minded way: the breakfast and the taxi service are only two examples. Definitely a place to return to.

If you are looking for a relaxxing holidays with your family, this is the best place to stay! I do recommend to book in advance! You have a swimming pool & many cool apartments. It's close to a village called Barão de São João.

I spent six days at a workshop retreat at Monte Rosa in May 2014. It would have been almost ideal except for one very serious problem. One of our retreat leaders emailed the owner to find out if they accepted credit cards for the 1 hour transport to and from the airport. The answer was that they did indeed accept...

We indeed do not work with credit cards, but one can always make a bank transfer at Monte Ros., This saves us a lot of hassle and commission fee. In the villlage of Baráo, at 2 kilometers is a cash machine. Most people pay in advance by bank transfer. The complaint about musquitoes I do'-t understand. We offer little electric...

Wonderful stay at Monte Rosa. Peaceful rooms/cottages. Amazing gardens. Great for a healthy and relaxing break. On site yoga, massage etc. and lots of info on other activities, services. Little cats pottering around. Lots to do in area and close to some beautiful quite beaches. I thought it was very good value. Will certainly return.

It was a very nice and relaxed stay at monte rosa! The houses are simple, but good and nice. The wellcoming was warm and very personal. Furthermore there is a lot of good information about almost everything in the surrounding. Minor point is that the prices are in the high season quite high, especially for in Portugal and It wasn't...

I think our prices are competitive. High season (16 of July till 16 of September) is the time that in tourism branch we have to make enough turnover to also pass the winter, when there are hardly any guests... In the beginning of the year we usually get already fully booked up for the summer, if our price would be...

I found myself in Monte Rosa a place full of tranquility and full of nature....It's was exact what I needed after leaving in a busy London. The beauty about this retreat you can get as busy as you like and do as much as u or don't want that freedom of choice is good for me. You can go traquin,...

After traveling from a bustling city I woke up at Monte Rosa and opened my apartment door to natural unspoilt beauty. It´s the secret garden we all wish we had. A place that is natural and real. My senses were awakened on a daily basis in this little haven. The wonderful aroma of many magnificent flowers and plants, the warm...

This is a small tourist complex, between mountains and beaches in the southwest of the Algarve near Lagos. As there were not available apartments or rooms, we stay in the wood “cabana”. Basic, with conditions only to sleep that easily could be improved. So, avoid sleeping on it and if you do bring insect repellent ... as there are some...

“room 10 was spacious, comfortable,.. good bed clean with shower and nice small porch with a bench outside to sit and see the beauty... of flowers and plants and my friends cats walking around.... Love it !!!”

“There are some gorgeous apartments if youd like a little more space. Most of the rooms have their own private veranda so lounging is plentiful. Just be clear about your needs. If you want more luxury then say so as their rooms vary from very simple and humble to really nice mini homes.”
