It's hard to know where to start when describing just how amazing Woodall is. My husband and I spent three nights here (we opted for the three night all inclusive safari package) and thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our stay. From the minute we arrived we received a big warm welcome and that really set the tone for the rest... More

We only stayed 2 nights this time, which was our first stay, but we will definitely be staying longer next time, what a wonderful time we had here, an idyllic spot, so relaxing and the food was superb with excellent service and attention to detail, our Game Drive around Addo was one of the highlights of our South African holiday.

We stayed here for 1 night during our Garden Route tour and my only complaint is that we were not here long enough. The Woodall is in a lovely, peaceful country location ideally situated for Addo Elephant Park (for which they will arrange Game Drives etc.). The layout is small guesthouses dotted about the grounds with a separate reception building,... More

We arrived at Woodall late at night as we had been on the road for several hours. We were met with an incredibly warm welcome and an even warmer room. Our dinner was exceptional and the mushroom soup was the best that I have ever had. Exhausted we collapsed in the comfiest bed. Breakfast the next morning was just as... More

We stayed at Woodall seven years ago and we wondered if it would be as good as we remembered it? It was. And better. Owners Debbie and James Miller welcomed us back with open-arms to their wonderful Lodge. And they kindly upgraded our room. This time we had our own private pool and no less than four showers - two... More

We stayed at Woodall for 2 nights 2&3rd Feb 2013. I can't say how lovely it was, the hotel & gardens are so beautiful, the food is excellent in quality and in service & is prepared by chefs from the local community who are trained by/at Woodall. The manager, Ruen takes his job very seriously- always present ensuring that guests... More

We were very comfortable here - we were upgraded to Room 4, which was an upstairs suite, very spacious. Comfortable bed, lovely linen, huge bathroom with his n' her sinks, small balcony with 2 chairs & table. As mentioned in previous reviews, the dining room opens out onto a decking which overlooks what I would call a lake, with a... More

We chose the 3 night safari/spa package and were very happy with the included activities. Especially our two safaris at Addo and Schotia (where we got very lucky sightings) and the dinners at Woodall were fantastic. Woodall has a very relaxing atmosphere and a lush garden. Bring mosquito repellent if you want to spend many hours in the garden -... More

My husband I and I had the pleasure of staying at Woodall for three nights in December. We booked a package offered on the website that included three game drives as well as dinner each night. When we broke the numbers down, this was actually a great bargain considering that two of the three drives we went on were completely... More
