My friends and I caught the last ferry to Arran and we were unable to book into our usual campsite because it was so late. Despite the short notice Eddie was very helpful and able to accommodate. The staff here are simply amazing! Great place, and I would highly recommend it to anyone.Looking forward to my next visit.

We are a group of ladies who love to cycle Arran. We stayed two nights in this bunkhouse and it was fab. It's clean and well equiped run by very friendly & helpful people who also run the community bar downstairs which was very welcoming! Would definitely stay again.

We had a great stay, in a beautiful location and with a warm welcome. Accommodation was practical, clean and a great base for our cycle trip round Arran. highly recommended as hostel accommodation with local beach and hotel if you want a meal nearby.

Clean, tidy and warm (mid-November!) with good facilities. Last minute booking as decided I didn't want to stay at the other place I went to first. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate provided for my use. Very welcoming.

We had girls on their D of E expedition and due to the awful weather had to rethink accommodation. Within minutes of our enquiry, the girls were welcomed in. They got the last beds and got their kit dried off ready for the following day. Thank you for your friendliness and probably preventing hypothermia

Our group of 17 stayed here as a base for a long weekend. We had the whole accomodation for ourselves. The bunkhouse was excellent, roomy, very clean and well appointed. In addition to the ample toilet and shower rooms, some of the sleeping rooms were en suite and there was a large drying room which really did what it was supposed... More

Myself and my partner went to Arran for a wee three night trip and the bunkhouse was absolutely ideal. Clean, modern, warm and comfortable and we had everything we needed from en-suite shower-room/wc to kitchen and drying room. Perfect if you want a base of operations that's good to come back to after a day out. The staff were excellent... More

This is the third year we have organised a group trip for 50 foreign students to Arran and we feel very lucky to have found the bunkhouse. It is excellently equipped with good quality appliances and kit. The rooms are well maintained and furniture high quality. The hall is excellent for having extra people to sleep, for having evening entertainment... More

We had a full bus of 50 international students. We were offered the entire 23 beds in the bunkhouse plus the remainder were allowed to sleep on the hall floor. The price was very reasonable and kept the trip affordable! The two en-suite leaders rooms in the Bunkhouse allow flexibility and having two well appointed kitchens made cooking haggis, neeps... Kilmory Lodge bunkhouse was ideally located at the bottom of arran for our cyle tour. As a bonus it was great value for money, comfy and clean. The 'staff' were very helpful and the location was stunning - path tho a beatiful wood to a stunning coast view/beach. would definitely stay again.
