It is my second time that I ate in this fabulous restaurant and soon it will be my third time! The food is amazingly tasty, healthy and delicious. The staff were always present and very professional. I strongly recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy a great meal in a green environment surrounded by beautiful trees and gardens. Thank you to all, you are simply the BEST!!!!

Only because due to system error I booked a room not available any longer. I did it on the way here so very short notice. I got almost immediate call, acommodation arranged, details over a text message so I finished my 500 kms and landed happily. Great service, solution, support.

We visited the hotel for three nights in August, as part of a tour around the lakes. The initial impression was mixed, as the room we got did not look like the pictures we had seen. However, it was clean and provided what we needed in a good location for Lake Orta. Gozzano is a small town and more of a base to travel from than a location to visit in itself. Quite pleasant and a couple of local restaurants nearby. The biggest challenge was the lack of air-conditioning, which if I am honest was an issue due to the time of year we visited. Unfortunately the area seemed to have a lot of mosquito's so we couldn't open windows either. Having said that, the hotel had provided a fan, which helped a bit. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. This place is family run so you get a much more personal experience than if you went to a larger hotel. We ate in their restaurant one evening and I was very impressed. Extremely good value for the set menu and excellent food - possibly the best risotto I have ever eaten! Breakfast was very good and after the first day the owner had remembered your preferences for coffee or tea, etc. I would certainly return to this hotel, but not at times when the weather required air-conditioning.

After a long day trip in the heat of north-wester Italy we found a place looking like a little settlement and asked a locel erpson where hotel Cà Lazzaroni is situated. he asked the restaurant? Yes, and the hotel, we replied. He drove in front of us, to this magnificent looking mini-castle-look-a-like property. We kindly asked for a room for the night and a dinner after a cooling shower. We have one room left, the very kind owner told us. And what a room it was. 3-4 time the size of what we experienced in Geneva and other places. A beautiful room, no not just a beautiful but magnificent suite. Big bath - the bath alone was the size of many rooms we have been served from many hotels. The diner: a story of it self. Delicious, most exciting Risotto Milano. What a tastefull and delighted starter we got. Wow. And the course was just even better. Both for the one who needs gluten free diet and for the 'normal diet'. Most, yes uttermost kind hotelpersonel, all the way from the owners (wife and husband) to the server that served us through the dinner and made us a unforgettable table for after-dinner coffee outside in the deepening darkness of late evening, with candlelight and delicious sweets, ashtray for me, the smoker. NB: The local (almost) wine was so nice and tasteful. We dont event get the name, but it is from a vineyard and winemaker the owners knew. Thanks to all these people for this unforgettable stay of unfortunately only one night. Next night the hotel was full, and we had to gett startet for our long trip to Norway. The email to the hotel is info@calazzaroni.it phone 0322 912050. If you are lucky to go there, Please tell them that we give them a big hug. Hans & Sissel from Norway.

We stayed only one night, but it was very good. The hotel is very elegant and good equiped. It is in an older style, but everything together creates a very nice harmony. Rooms are big and cousy. Staff is very friendly and the morning coffee is excellent. Moreover price was very good. All in all it was a good stay and worth going again.

We stayed in this lovely B&B for three nights. The owners are friendly and informative. The room was large and clean. The restaurant was very good with a nice wine list and many choices on the menu. For €17 you received a primo, secondo and contorno. Dessert was only €3. The location is very convenient to the vineyards of Gattinara, Lake Orta and Lake Maggiore. All are worthwhile seeing. The scenery in this area is lovely and to come back to the inn after a busy day was very welcoming. I highly recommend this inn.

What a find this place was. Spent a night here with the proximity to Milan Malpensa Airport and found a gem. The room is spacious with modern fittings and good wifi. But the real gems are the owners who does anything and everything to make your stay confortable. The food for dinner was incredible, possibly the best I have had in Italy. Will definately stay here again.

We booked for three nights as it was so close to Malpensa airport and would give us plenty of time to enjoy Lake Orta. Our plane was late but Signor had kindly kept the restaurant open so that we could have a meal. Throughout our stay he couldn't have been more helpful. The bedrooms all seem to be huge (although the beds are quite firm), the villa is lovely and it's very close to the beautiful lake (a few minutes by car). Try and have lunch there - the place was packed with locals eating, always a good sign.

Room Tip: Rooms overlooking the huge gardens would be preferable - the road side was noisier.

We loved staying here: big, luxurious rooms; private parking, extremely helpful staff. Location is maybe not ideal, but not far from the lake either (by car). Breakfast was nice, just not too much choice. We had a balcony with a pretty view and a very comfortable bed. There's free wifi too! We'd come back for the friendly staff alone!

We (a family of five) stayed for one night on the return leg of a week's stay on nearby Lake Maggiore as we wanted to visit nearby Orto San Guilio (a beautiful town, well worth seeing). We had three excellent rooms, clean, spacious, and comfortable. Dinner that evening was really fine, the owner Paolo taking the time to talk us through a varied traditional Italian dinner. Service and food all well above average. Breakfast next morning was more than adequate to see us on our way, with a definite promise to return again if ever we're in the area. Paolo and his staff cannot be recommended highly enough for their friendliness and helpfulness. All this at a truly exceptional price, too !
