All your stresses melt away as you drive through the gates. The cottages are extremely comfortable and well equipped and make for a relaxing stay. Carol, the host, is very friendly and helpful and the welcome pack she supplies is a really nice touch. Had dinner at the local pub at the food was very good. All in all we...

Perfect place to get away from it all but within easy reach of plenty of things to do. The cottage was ideal for 4 adults and our playful grandchildren equipped with everything you could wish for. There is a good play area for children and a barbecue. If you need anything else or want to know about the area just...

We've just returned from another enjoyable break at Rock House Farm Cottages. We stayed in dormouse this time, it's a very welcoming, cozy, well equipped cottage, the kitchen has everything you need (..there was some bread, tea, coffee and milk there waiting for us when we arrived..) and the beds are very comfy. Gardens, pots, tubs etc around the property...

A beautiful cottage with everything you need. Our children loved the cottage inside and out, there was a great play area for the kids and games and toys under their beds. The owners Carol & Ken are lovely and very accommodating. They brought in our washing while we were away for the day. Carol arranged for us to have a...

This is a wonderful place to stay. Cozy and clean with a wonderful kitchen for cooking almost anything. The owners are lovely and very welcoming. Its ideally located for Alton Towers (15 mins drive away) and set in beautiful countryside. Plus the local pub is awesome. Had a wonderful time celebrating my 40th birthday with friends.

Rock House Farm Cottages are just delightful. We stayed in Hedgehog cottage and were not disappointed. The cottage is warm and inviting from the moment you walk in. The kitchen is fully equipped and functional. The lounge and bedrooms are pleasantly decorated, spacious and neat with everything you need. The cottage was spotlessly clean and tidy and full of games...

Facilities were top notch, kitchen, living space showers, bathrooms all A1, very hand for pub for eating and drinking after a hard days theme parking. Very welcoming easy enough to find, bur do your homework before you go, or...

The previous reviews say it all- spotlessly clean, well equipped, cosy and inviting. We stayed in Badger for almost two weeks and felt like we were leaving home when we had to depart! The setting is lovely, the views from out the back where the kids play are great;take advantage of the garden seat and soak in the view. Our...

..and it was even better! Despite our reservations about Staffordshire Moorland in mid October, we returned for the Alton Towers Scare Fest, opting to stay again at Rock House Farm. Since we last visited, the cottages have been immaculately maintained, including new beds! Middle daughter was heard to comment 'I wish I could take my bed home, its so much...

“"Badger" cottage is great for 2 families with kids - three bedrooms (2x double, 1 twin), one double with en suite and a seperate bathroom, but the kitchen and lounge are upstairs. "Dormouse" has a ground level bedroom, kitchen and lounge room, with a second bedroom upstairs, so would be better for a family with a disabled guest (though a slight step up to the cottage)..”
