We had to cancel our booking previous day before coming as our car broke down in Dunedin. I also asked can we just change the dates. Girl whom I was talking to didn't know if possible and neither did know about cancel policy so promised someone will call me back the next day. Never got that phone call so phoned...

A lovely sheltered campground tucked into the bush on the edge of a massive estuary full of wildlife including the occasional sealion. Close to many attractions and a great place to stay if exploring the top end of the Catlins

A great find and lovely place to stay as you explore the Caitlins.Parked our caravan under the trees and we were greeted by tuis and bellbirds just lovely birdsong. Had a view out towards the Estuary and the campground has a very peaceful and relaxed feel about it. Good facilities and the tiled bathrooms and toilets were spotlessly clean. The...

Stayed just one night and wished it could have been longer (accommodation was our pop-top camper). Lovely bird song, native trees in a relaxed, peaceful setting, away from the overnight touring crowds (although we were one of them this time! ;-)

The Catlins are stunning, well this camp is a wee treasure! Beautiful location, but very comfortable and welcoming place. The cabin we had was lovely, modern, with a heater, fridge, jug and toaster. Showers were lovely and the bathrooms were clean, tidy and had been renovated. Right on the shore line of I think an estuary.

Never have I come home in a camp to all my washing folded off the line. Very basic facilities kept spotless. Nature lovers enjoying a base camp for excursions. Very sheltered. We were there 5 nights and loved it. Thanks to all the hard workers!

Never again would we visit this camp ground a gain it is well out of date but the worst thing is the camp ground owners they are so rude and nasty and it wasn't just to us, so be warned there are lots of camps round here we come down twice a year always trying different camps most are great.

A beautiful spot. The cabin was extremely small, more of a "Wendy house," or a luxury dog kennel. Comfortable bed and quite clean but very, very basic. A small fridge, toaster, heater and electric jug. No mirror, nowhere to hang clothing no bedside lamp or light switch. A rusty old chair was leaning against the outside of the hut and...

This site is in the beautiful area of the Catlins.Staff were most welcoming ,our accomodation was a small hut by the waters edge and was lovely and comfortable with great views over the estuary. The kitchen was very well stocked as a lot of places don't supply utensils etc.All other amenities were adequate. It was very good value and near all the...
