Thank you Sue and Richard for a very enjoyable stay. As we stepped back in time arriving in this beautiful old house, we received a very warm welcome. We were made very much at home. Nothing was too much trouble from sitting in the delightful lounge with tea and biscuits after we arrived - very refreshing after a long journey...

We stayed here for one night to attend a wedding at the church opposite - we wish we could have stayed longer. On arrival we were greeted by Susan who was very welcoming and showed us to our room. The room - well, we have never stayed in such a lovely room as The Oak Room. 4 poster bed, oak...

We stayed here for one night for a wedding at Heddingham Castle. It's only 10 minutes drive away and situated in a very pretty quiet street. There is parking right outside. The owners are lovely and couldn't do enough for you. The bedroom was picture perfect so quaint and pretty. A very comfortable 4 poster bed, very spacious bedroom and...

Stayed at this fabulous B & B in Wethersfield, Essex for 5 nights. Stunning house with parts dating back 500 years. It has supreme character with Oak Beams everywhere. Couple this with fantastic, dedicated, committed, personal service by Susan and Richard, it made my stay great. I loved my oak beamed bedroom. I wanted to take it back with me...

We found this B&B through the good reviews on trip advisor. It is a lovely house in the middle of the village, created by merging three cottages. It dates back to 1500. Our welcome was warm, our en-suite bedroom was complete with a four poster bed and the cooked breakfast excellent. Have already recommended it to our extended family.

My wife and I stayed at the Church Hill House B&B last Saturday the 19th as we were attending a wedding at Gosfield Hall about 10 minutes away. We were running a little late but Susan tried vainly to get us a taxi but no avail (Richard had warned us to pre-book, we did not listen!) so we drove there...

From the moment of arrival, Richard and Susan couldn't have been more welcoming and friendly. A space was reserved to park my car, my bags were cheerfully carried up to my room, a pot of tea and some scones were served in the garden. The house is incredibly old and beautiful with so much character. I stayed in The Oak...
