A very nice and cosy small hotel in Switzerland. A nice bed and good breakfast. I will definitely go back here when I am visiting for work. The only drawback from my side is that they doesn't have a gym.

I've stayed here several times over the last few years. The rooms are unique and clean as the hotel, which has been run by the same family for many generations, has expanded and updated the property over time. The staff are pleasant and hard-working. There's a wonderful charm to this home away from home. If you're looking for corporate amenities...

Very pleasant and repescted hotel for weekends and busyness at approx. 10 minutes drive from Baden. The Family Schiblis are very good hosts. The restaurant has a creativ gastronomy with nightlife Bar with music.

I stayed here for 5 nights and found this to be a welcoming hotel. The rooms are ok not big or well appointed but comfortable and reasonably priced. The restaurant is one of the best around. You pay for it but that goes for everything in Switzerland so in relative cost it is on par. Best meal I had there...

One night stay on business - and I was utterly surprised. Since the restaurant was closed, the room keys were left in in a box at the front door, the tap water is spring water and the rooms huge. Wow. Breakfast was good, but no eggs and limited fresh fruit. A bit expensive, but I liked it.

The Hotel and Restaurant are in a traditional old Swiss House. As a result there are small stair cases everywhere, no lifts and low ceilings. However, there is plenty of charm and uniqueness about this place. We had a large room on the top floor with a great bathroom and a large balcony. The style of the design is very...

This property is primarily a restaurant, and apparently a very good restaurant, judging from reviews of the restaurant itself. The proprietors are restaurateurs, not hoteliers. This is apparent in the deficiencies of the hotel. Despite spending millions of francs to recently renovate the hotel (it it quite impressive), there are numerous faults in the operation of the hotel that would...

We stayed at this charming and owner run hotel for just 1 night and we were pleasantly surprised by the personal attention and the great service. We had asked for a room in quiet location, which we got (at the back of the house, overlooking the garden). The room was spacious and comfortable. Ample off street parking space (free) available...

This is a simple country hotel at the center of a small village. But it has some pluses. First off ample parking. Second, a pretty decent restaurant, in classic Swiss style and with an outside seating area among large trees. Then the staff is exceedingly corteous. The rooms are ok, with all of today's basic needs. Plus, there is even...

We have stayed in this country inn three times over the last few years and always had a very enjoyable experience. It's a family-run hotel with a very personal touch. Staff are very friendly, and guests feel that they are given individual attention. The building itself has a rich history, and even the newer or refurbished parts of the hotel...

“Rooms 70-72 are either over the bar, or have windows facing the entrance or smoking area. With the bar open 'till 2am on Saturday, it can make for a sleepless night! At the same time, they are very modern, and 72 is the largest suite.”
