We had a wonderful overnight stay at Torran Bed and Breakfast is the summer of 2012. We promised to write a review but never got around. The reason for catching up now is we keep talking about the experience. The host/owner was very friendly and helpful. We still talk about her playful sheep herding dogs and yes , we were...

Mairi made me very welcome the moment I arrived and throughout my stay. The breakfasts were delicious and filling. My room was spotlessly clean and tidy and had everything I needed. I stayed a few days to cycle in the area. The weather was kind during my stay and the scenery from the B&B was simply stunning. Highly recommended.

This little B&B was hard to find without directions, but well worth the effort. It is situated about 15 minutes drive from Ullapool and at the end of a narrow single lane roadway through lovely farming area and above Loch Broom. We were greeted by Kenny, who was most hospitable and gave us tea and biscuits. He also advised on...

Breakfast was great, delicious. Friendly owner with lovely dogs and the famous sheep PET. Closest restaurant is in Ullapool, but the location is ideal for...

The owner was unbelievably kind and helpful. At 10 pm she managed to find a beer for us and in the morning she helped us find a tire shop to fix our car. The room was clean and tidy, bathroom and shower was completely new and modern. Breakfast was excellent.

We were greeted with a nice surprise when we arrived: the family of innkeepers were actively sheering their sheep! This happens only once a year, so we were so pleased. They invited us to watch them do it, and answered all of our questions. They introduced us to their famous lamb (now ewe) who thinks she's a dog, "Pet," and...

On our tour around Scotland we decided to spend one night in Ullapool. Wish we'd done two. This lovely B&B is tucked away up a winding road overlooking the Loch. Just minutes from the charming town of Ullapool. The room was very nice and the shower was the BEST! Our host Mairi was very accommodating - including helping us fill...
