Pros: The owners of the B&B were very, very nice and helpful - setting up the cable/satellite and showing us how it worked. The room was very nice and well-decorated. Very clean. The shower was quite nice, too. Located conveniently off Hwy 430 near Gros Morne National Park and Deer Lake. The queen bed was very comfortable. Cons: The light...

We stayed here with Roberta, her son Wayne and his lovely family for three nights while we hiked in Gros Morn park. They have a motel on the highway, four units and they live on the premises. It is very quiet, free wifi, breakfast, clean, modern and spacious units and breakfast with Roberta, her family and the other guests (...

Found this when our flight plans changed at the last minute due to family emergency. Wasn't expecting anything beyond the basics and was very pleasantly surprised. This family run B&B is very well organized. Our room was very comfortable, private and the bathroom completely modern. The three family Labs were a wonderful bonus! Our host Wayne brought a lovely tray...

We stayed here by chance because we could not find accommodations anywhere else but I must say were pleasantly surprised. We didn't check in until late at night but the room was nice, very clean and enough clean linens for twice the people staying with us. It was quiet for staying right off the highway.

The other two reviews were for off season. My wife and I were there in July, and there was no reduction in their high standards. Friends had recommended this inn to us, from their stay last July. This four room inn is quiet. Our room had a queen and a single bed in it. My wife loved the quilts on...

My wife and I were travelling from Gros Morne in October '11and I was ready to drop asleep at the wheel. Around the bend I saw the Thickwood. Not sure, I sent my picky wife in for a look and stayed in the car. It is right on the main drag into Gros Morne just outside of Deer Lake in...
