Decent hotel. The room was clean and the front desk was helpful and polite. You need a car as the location is okay, but not walking distance to much. My only complaint (which I have seen pop up in other peoples reviews) is the temperature. There was no A/C. I understand that Switzerland generally does not get too hot, but it was close to 30 degrees the day we went and therefore the room was quite stuffy, even with fans going. Leaving the windows open was a less desirable option since it is located on a busy/noisy street and led to a few bugs being let in the short period of time we opened the window before going to sleep. Found out at the front desk the following morning that can "upgrade" to a room with A/C but seems unreasonable to charge extra for that. That being said, I'd stay there again at a different point in the year, where the weather is cooler. …

Dear B2967XUmr Thank you for being our guest and your nice review. We are pleased that you had a pleasant stay with us and that you felt well looked after by our team. We can understand that it is warm in the rooms on hot summer days, so we provide the fans in our standard rooms or you can upgrade to the superior rooms for a small surcharge as informed by the reception. These rooms were all newly renovated in January and equipped with air conditioning and a mini fridge. That's why we have two different room categories and therefore two different prices. However, we are pleased that you would like to visit us again in the cooler season and we are already looking forward to it. Until then, we wish you all the best and a nice rest of the summer. Booked this hotel as I was planning to rent a car, unfortunately plans changed and it ended on a negative way as the hotel is a bit far from city center. Still accesible by train. Staff: was great, they even gave a present to my son. Very helpful as I was making lots of questions. Restaurant: I did used for dinner and was OK. Short menu but good. Room: small as it can be expected from an Ibis, however, room rate was still very highly if you compare to any other country, later I found Switzerland as whole was very expensive. No A/C only fans. I stay one night and I room temperature was above normal. I had not other choice to use the noise fan. I do understand the fact of not having A/C as the country is pretty cold around the year, but this year being hotter and seems is not going to be better, summers may impact room experience as A/C is not avail. No close shops around, so, if you are on a car, great, otherwise be prepared to walk.…

Dear Irobles 77 Thank for being our guest and your review. We are happy that you felt well looked after by our staff and that your son was also happy about the surprise. We can understand that you may find it easier to get here by car than by public transport. But you can reach us from the city center within 20 minutes and the bus runs every 15 minutes just opposite the hotel. We don't quite understand that with the shopping possibilities, opposite the hotel there is a small shop at the gas station. An Aldi can be reached within a 10-minute walk and three bus stops from us about a 5-minute drive away is another Aldi and a large Coop. I am really excited. The staff is super friendly, everyone here loves animals. The hotel is clean, the food is good and not expensive by Swiss standards. The location is great, you can get everywhere quickly. you can even book a room with air conditioning and a fridge for little money. I would love to come back anytime!

Hassle free check-in. We had rooms at the 4th floor, good view. Room is small but clean as is the bedding and bathroom. Comfy enough. The breakfast has a good spread of continental breakfast, good cheese selection and sole farm fresh eggs to poach. €272 per night for two rooms, with breakfast for 5 paxs.

We stayed at the hotel during the heat wave that hit Europe. After checking in, we found that the hotel does not have AC, at least the room we were placed in. We were only provided with a tiny fan! We couldn't sleep all night. Also when we arrived at the end of the day, we didn't have an extra bed in the room. Positive, just the friendliness of the staff who have nothing to do with the problems mentioned and the fact that there is free parking.

An affordable bed very close to Zurich. We had a twin room, the beds are very narrow and there is no air conditioning though they had put in a fan to use which helped a little. Due to the extreme heat it was not easy to sleep but the reception staff were welcoming and friendly and it was easy to get around.

Small rooms, insignificant breakfast and they don't turn on the air conditioning. I will suggest to avoid this hotel also from a location perspective. Stayed in May 2022. Especially anyone from India will be surprised by the little breakfast option they provide. Also no kitchenette or oven in the room

We stay here everytime when visiting family who lives in Adliswil. We were never disappointed. The hotel has been always clean, spacious and the staff very friendly. We asked for a quiet room and we got a nice room with mountain views. The mattress was very comfortable. Very good value for money. Good public transport towards centre of Zurich and towards airport.Looking forward coming back.

Nice clean hotel situated close to Zurich. Perfect for a short stay. Easy access to public transport if you want to visit the city. Very polite staff. As I was by car I the private (free) parking was a big advantage.
