My wife and I spent 5days in Tobago and stayed at this very pleasant B&B near Crown Point. The rooms are on the second floor of a larger neighborhood home and are very comfortable. It is run by Stein and his sister who are friendly and accommodating. The rooms are clean and high tech with television and Wi-Fi and excellent air conditioning. They serve a cooked made-to order breakfast from a select menu which is good. The place is in a local neighborhood so you get a feeling how the natives live. There are barking dogs and a some noise but we slept very well and felt perfectly safe. The downsides are the narrow spiral staircase which would not work for persons with a mobility problem. Stein will give you rides locally but due to the distance from restaurants and most activities having a rental car is advisable. You are not in a resort and will need to make your own way to the public beaches which are not far. If you wish to have a authentic local experience this is an excellent choice. If you are looking for a swimming pool and resort accommodations this would not be a good choice. We enjoyed the experience and felt it contributed positively to our stay in Tobago.

My husband and I have been repeat guests at Native Abode for a number of years. Looking for a home away from home this is it. Cleanliness, quality, awesome hosts and the breakfast includes a wide variety of local foods and is second to none! Continuously improving to elevate the guest experience to perfection!

Kaye gave us a very warm welcome in her guest house. Kaye grew up in Tobago, therefore knows the island very well and has the best contacts. If you want to organize something (excursions, rental car, restaurant visits, onward flights, etc.) Kaye is extremely helpful and has valuable recommendations. The breakfast is excellent with a wide selection and always freshly prepared; preferably with everything that grows in their large garden. The rooms are very clean. We can highly recommend Guesthouse Native Abode and wish Kaye and her brother, Stein continued success.

Very clean place with extremly helpful owners. The breakfast is of great variety. You pick from a menu and they prepare it freshly with ingredients from their backyard. We could taste the different fresh juices form trees and fruits from their garden. The also offer you a typical local meal for breakfast. The rooms provide you with everything you need.

Mr. Stein and his sister run the place and all our needs were met. The breakfast was amazing! If you are into cutlery and fine china you would appreciate it. Everything served was locally grown or sourced. There is a large garden on the property and we were allowed to pick some of the fruits to take with us. We booked two rooms and each room had a small veranda with a clothes rack to dry our bathing suits the place is nicely kept and the amenities were thoughtfully placed.

Very impressed with the level of attentiveness at this place. There was even an umbrella in the closet should you need it. Water fountain just outside rooms, fresh breakfast of your choice every morning, very neat, clean and comfortable. Friendly and helpful owners. Thank you Kaye!

I visited Native Abode 5 years ago. This time I brought along 2 others persons with me. They were both wowed by the rooms, the treatment they recieved, the personality of the host, the breakfast. Mr Stein made us feel at home. I would surely be visiting again.

This was a great B&B! Friendly and efficient attention from Stein and the housekeepers. House situated on a quiet street but not far from where lots of the action is in the area not far from the airport. Cosy comfortable and spotlessly clean room, furnished in local Tobago style. Small kitchen area at one end with sink kettle and microwave. Bathroom very small but with fantastic shower and toiletries provided. There was a small balcony as well but the view overlooks the rather unexciting residential area. The breakfasts were delicious! Fresh fruit every day (some from the garden) and various entree options which had to be ordered the evening before, together with warm homemade bakes. The only downside to the breakfast was eating it in the dark windowless dining room. We thoroughly enjoyed our 5-night stay here and would definitely go back.

My husband and I arrived in Tobago early in the morning after a very long and arduous overnight flight. We called our accommodations in the hopes of at least dropping our bags off before check-in. Our host Stein not only immediately and cheerfully picked us up, but told us our room was ready as well. The room was spacious with a king-sized bed, air conditioning, Wifi, a small kitchenette (outfitted with welcoming drinks), a small balcony, a massive tv (including Netflix and Prime) and drinking was good from the tap or from the water cooler with fresh spring water in the hallway. Our host Stein was readily available to answer questions and give directions to either of the beaches which are about a 15-20 minute walk away. Later, when we were seeking a location for dinner, Kaye (our other host) was incredibly helpful and just lovely to chat with. Breakfast is chosen to order the night before and provided at your chosen time. The food was delicious and used many ingredients from the expansive garden the hosts keep in the backyard which Stein kindly took us on a tour of after our meal. The brother and sister team of Stein and Kaye run a top-notch establishment that I cannot recommend enough if you are staying in Crown Point.

The room was well appointed and comfortable. The owner was super accommodating as we required early check-in and late check-out. We felt very at home and welcomed in the space. It was quiet and remarkably comfortable, I would definitely stay there again and recommend it. It was an awesome experience for a quick get-away.
