We chose this b&b as closest to Alton towers. First impressions it was hard to find, but clean, gentleman that checked us in, polite, rooms smart, very clean & tidy, showers aren't much good tho, our bed was comfy, cooked breakfast (sorry folks) first morning was not much, in fact it would of looked better on a side plate, half...

Thankyou for taking the time to write a review, as you have with many other properties you've visited. We're sorry you were disappointed with your breakfast on the first morning. However you did receive exactly what you ordered. The next morning (ordering off the same menu) you decided to have the Full English Breakfast, which is much larger. We can...

Very well kept property, friendly service and as family it worked well for Alton Towers the next day. Decor dated and uninspiring and I dislike carpets in bathrooms but that's personal. Owner very professional. He called the following day as he had found something that may have belonged to us, so very good service. We would stay again.

Many thanks for your review. It's nice to know you'd happily stay with us again. We're sorry the decor in your room wasn't to your liking. Having said that, it's one of only a few of our rooms that we haven't recently refurbished. Phil and Helen

We originally picked this b&b as it was so close to Alton Towers however we found it a struggle to get out of bed in the morning as it was so comfy! Every night was a great sleep! Host was very welcoming and even printed out our tickets that we forgot to do ourselves! Breakfast was delicious served with lovely...

We had a lovely stay at the Laurels in May. The host, Phil, was so kind and helpful, he really made us feel completely at home. Our room was lovely - very clean, and there was a lovely coffee machine. The breakfast was delicious - there was a choice of cereals & then a full English which was yummy! We...

I booked this B&B for my girlfriends birthday as we was going to Alton towers and it was in the perfect location (Alton towers only a 5 min drive or 20 min walk). On our way to the B&B our car broke down, needing to be sent to a garage. Although this was stressful the owners were very friendly and...

In a great location for Alton towers, close to the peak district and monkey forest, very peaceful and relaxing as it's in a quiet place. The owners were friendly and welcoming.
