We just returned yesterday from a week at Vaikoi in the 1 bedroom bungalow and I cant rave enough about it. To be honest-its the islands, it was affordable, and its not a resort....I wasnt expecting much! But I was blown away by how modern and clean our villa was. Mata greeted us like old friends when we arrived and...

We stayed in one of the one-bedroom villas at the end of January 2011. The location is idyllic, set in beautifully landscaped gardens, a short distance from a wonderful coral beach where colourful fish swim around al the small rocky areas. Most of the time we had the beach to ourselves! Mata and Kathy provide snorkelling equipment which is an...

This is a very reasonable accommodation, hosts Kathy and Mata go above and beyond, and it was just across the road from a wonderful beach! We wouldn't stay anywhere else if we ever get the chance to go again. Highly recommended!

Vaikoi is the prefect place to stay. I had a holiday with my mum and sister so we stayed in the 3 bed house. There was more than enough room and we were more than comfortable. Mata and kathy were great hosts very friendly and nothing was a problem if we needed anything. The house was clean and private in...

Perfect size, excellent amenties, modern, clean, beautiful private setting, so close to best beach and lovely lovely owners. We considered the earlier Trip Advisor reviews before booking and although attracted to Vaikoi as a result, were a little uncertain as there were few photos of the inside of the bungalow and only 3 reviews. Upon arrival we were so happy...

Mata, the host, was so helpful, friendly and lovely. He met us in our accommodation when we arrived at 1am and was smiling! We had the one bedroom villa, which was modern and well equipped. We were supplied with some food supplies to get us going: a couple of paw-paws (papaya), bananas, a loaf of bread, a litre of milk,...

“Have a choice of one bedroom bungalows for couples or a 3 bedroom house for larger groups such as a family.”

“any of mata's two small or one large bungalows, on vaikoi property, are wonderful- depends on the size of your group- the two small bungalows are only for 1 or 2 people, but the large house has several bedrooms. all are in a garden setting, and spaced far enough apart to provide privacy and quiet evenings.”
