Thanks to the location amidst the pine trees and fresh air, the fresh sea breeze, one feels really blessed and relaxing. The wide and quiet rooms decorated with nostalgic accessories are surely the main reason to enjoy a few days at Mango. We warmly recommend this hotel for those seeking a romantic and relaxing retreat.

Returning to Turkey after many years I was horrified by what tourism has done to Fethiye and Olu Deniz. Faralya, in contrast is unspoiled and beautiful. We stayed in one of the new pool villas at the Mango last September and can't recommend them highly enough. We arrived late (after an easy taxi transfer) to find delicious food waiting for... More

We had a wonderful week long stay at Mango. From the moment we arrived we felt relaxed and happy. The staff were welcoming and friendly, the rooms were generously sized and nicely furnished with a private balcony looking out over the sea. They even had a Jacuzzi. We enjoyed lounging round the pool, going on walks with the engaging and... More

First of all the name: Mandarin is the older part of the hotel which is currently being refurbished, Mango is the newer part where you'll stay. Mango is immediately adjacent and is on the seaward side. We had a peaceful and enjoyable week staying in one of the two villa's at Mango. Unlike our previous visit to Turkey when we... More

We were lucky enough to win a week in the new Mango Hotel in a competition in the Guardian newspaper. We had never been to Turkey before, and had never really fancied it! The tour operator, Cachet Travel, could not be more helpful and even arranged flights from Manchester at no extra charge. The prize was for B&B but we... More

It was a walking holiday with so much more. The best ever. Ghislaine, the host and walk leader immersed us in local culture and his knowledge and enthusiasm truly enhanced the abundant local architecture. I liked the way local food was used in delicious recipes and also that staff came from the local village. All the staff were so kind... More

We went as a 19 strong walking group for one week guided walking by Ghislain who proved to be an excellent walk leader - very knowledgeable of archeology, fauna and local interests. His senseof humour and his individual approach, with his loyal dog Pasha, proved a hit. The walks were breathtakingly beautiful and combined all elements - mountains, sea, historical... More

We just spent the most GLORIOUS week at the Mandarin on the Turquoise Coast. The villa is gorgeous and we were looked after like family. The scenery is quite breathtaking, and we did some particularly interesting walks through the countryside and to the local beaches. The home cooked food prepared each night by the lovely ladies in the kitchen was... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
An unspoilt setting, luxurious surroundings and a warm, personal welcome... Opened in the summer of 2007, Mandarin is a delightful boutique hotel situated in an unspoilt natural setting close to south-west Turkey's magnificent Turquoise Coast. Perfect for nature lovers who also value a touch of luxury and a high level of personal service, Mandarin has been designed as a stylish and supremely comfortable hideaway, which nevertheless boasts a pleasantly informal atmosphere without any hint of stuffiness or pretension. Mandarin comprises just eight guestrooms and thus offers a very intimate ambience, making it the perfect venue for a small group to rent for a special celebration, club event or even a business meeting. However, the hotel is equally suited to romantic couples and guests wishing to stay in unspoilt surroundings, relax in unperturbed peace and perhaps indulge in a few nature-based activities. Please note that, to maintain its air of tranquillity, Mandarin operates a no-children policy (with the exception of group bookings renting the hotel in its entirety). ...introducing one of Turkey's most exclusive retreats ... more   less
