We stayed here as a group of parents and children as part of the gymnastics competition in the attached gym.We understood it to be basic but clean -and I've done basic but clean many times but this certainly wasn't that!!! One of our group was given the key to her room when she arrived and found a man using her...

Nice, cheap place with wonderful stuff! They are very friendly and helpful. There are free wi-fi spots on each level and you can still use it for free staying in the room. 15 minutes on the bus to get to Valletta. Situated close to such nice places as Chinese Gardens and Tarxien Themples.

Spent 6 days here on business and can't fault Bowyer House excellent location, Excellent pool, nice clean place to stay. Tarxien is a lovely village/town, the buses are regular and cheap, although the 82 bus get busy heading for Birzebbuga on the coast. Bowyer House comes highly recommended

By far one of my worst stays. I was in Malta for an international internship of 1 month and the agency which provided me the stage sent me and some of my colleagues for the bowyer house, this hostel is just horrible, I do not advise it, look for another place, stay in this place is an authentic waste of...

It is just what you might expect from a hostel. Pretty fine if you stay one night. you have hot water in a shower and a bed. There is a slow wifi as well and a little breakfast. For a breakfast you better wake up early, cause it might be gone

We (a party of 9) stayed here for last week and can honestly say that it is a really lovely hotel, amazing value for money. The place is beautifully clean, really quirky and the Management/staff could not be more helpful. Its location is ideal too! Highly recommended!

WiFi is slow Access for people with disabilities is very poor as there is a flight of steps going downwards and there is a lack of additional services such as medical services for emergencies as stipulated on the conditions written on the back of each door. No hot water was available on 14th February 2015 afternoon, which is too bad,...

I am sorry to say so, but I did not expect a place like this for the price I have paid. Room was large but not clean, with very old furniture and bad mattress. Bathroom wasn't working properly and the hotel seemed a bit abandoned. In few words: negative.

We needed somewhere to stay for one night before moving on to our main accomodation. We paid 45 euros for a clean double room with en suite and breakfast. It wasn't wonderful but it was good value and served our purpose. We'd notified them that we'd be arriving late and our key was left by the front door with a...

“The dorms are very open to passing strangers. Some rooms have balconies - ours didn't despite the fact there were plenty of empty ones. Probably worth asking for better room (if you can find anyone to ask!!)”
