We were so lucky to find one of only two rooms available in this very special Bed and Breakfast in High Street, Bruton. Our (South) room was spacious and spotless and the bathroom was very clean and modern with plenty of towels and even two bathrobes available. The bedroom offered a kettle, a variety of drinks and some delicious home...

I received a lovely warm welcome from Olivia....nothing was too much trouble....the room was stylish and welcoming, lovely bathroom and generous sized shower. Olivia was happy to offer suggestions of places to visit, eat and see in and around Bruton. I always think that a one night stay is hard work for the B&B owner, but I felt very welcome...

We had a lovely visit to Bruton. Olivia and her family made us very welcome. We enjoyed the peace and quiet of the Garden Room and Olivia's breakfasts were delicious - we particularly liked the juice from their own apples!

The brilliance of the accommodation is exceeded only by the hospitality and helpfulness of the owners ... I am a critical reviewer but cannot praise this place enough... breakfast is brilliant, too ... I recommend the bistro down the road for dinner - but if High House did dinner, I'm sure it would be magnificent. Lovely!!!! Totally recommended...

We planned to stay for 3 nights but we couldn't leave and so ended up adding another 2. Olivia and her family made us feel very welcome (and lovely Monty the dog too!), we stayed in the garden room which is beautifully decorated, comfy and provides everything one could need. The breakfast was also superb. We can't wait for our...

High House is a gift to Bruton. This B & B is a place of welcome and generous hospitality. Olivia is a fantastic cook and host, her breakfasts are a huge treat! Nothing is ever too much for the hosts.. I will be returning in 2017 for longer, and I can't wait! CK

I confess that I thought parking might be a problem, but it was not, and even so Olivia offered to go and stand out in the cold to keep another space for me slightly closer. The bedroom was most comfortable with a cosy bathroom and the only shower I have come across in the UK that is as good as...

We were not sure exactly where on the high street the B&B was, but Olivia the host was watching out for us as she knew when we were arriving. She had even saved us a parking space outside moving her own car when we arrived! The house is beautiful and comfortable and it was interesting to get a potted family...

We stayed for two nights as we were attending a 40th wedding anniversary party a few doors up in High Street. Lovely room with super en suite and lots of nice touches. Smashing breakfast in a lovely reception room. Hosts Olivia and Mike were most friendly and welcoming and young Archie their son was charming. We were given our own...
