Visited for a birthday celebration with members of my family and ate from the early menu. The meals were child size portions and my medium curry tasted strongly of vinegar. The main menu meals looked better size but unsure I'd risk taste again! Wouldn't recommend really feel like we were conned and was actually hungry later in evening, I didn't...

Large group of family attended the Cross Oak for Sunday lunch. My family has eaten at the establishment many times for usual type meals and have always had great food and service. This was the first time the family had Sunday lunch and it was superb. The food quality, service and attention to detail was superb as we have come...

My family recently visited The Cross Oaks to celebrate an 18th birthday. We were seated in the conservatory away from other guests so we had a bit of privacy. The bar staff and service were very friendly. My steak was cooked really well and the home made chips were lovely. All In all we had a very good night and...

First time visiting and it was so good! The food was beautiful and very filling with big portions . Was nice to be able to eat and chat with friends in a good friendly atmosphere. This place is well worth a visit with a recommendation for the lasagne and was pretty excited to see sweet potato chips on the menu!

Visited here on November 26th 2016 for my partners birthday. There were 10 of us and I can't believe how excellent the food was. We recently visited a restaurant in Caerphilly my mother in laws 50th and the food was dreadful. After visiting this place and having a meal I would definitely go again! We were served by "Becky" and...

We went for a very late (3.30) lunch so probably didn't see the best of this place. Traditional roast was great and there were loads of fresh not frozen veg. A bit watery and overcooked but that may be to do with the time we ate. Puddings were great. Real ale choice limited but great beer.
