The lady owner seemed to take a dislike to my wife and made her feel unwelcome. She was very short with us when we had contact with her. The owner came to us the second day and asked us to turn off the outside light at night which we found interesting as it was motion censored and part of a...

We stayed this past weekend in what was advertised as "The Cabin" The Cabin is a garage that has been renovated. It was clean, lots of windows with a well supplied kitchen, but we were expecting a cabin. The heating is either full on fan that overheats rooms or none at all which is too cool. The noise from the...

Alannah and Dan welcomed me in off of the Great Divide Trail and provided me with an immaculately clean and incredibly comfortable bed to sleep in and delicious food to nourish my trail-weary body! Safe Haven is a wonderful B&B and Alannah and Dan are definitely trail angels, offering greatly appreciated assistance to hikers passing through Crowsnest Pass. Highly recommended.

We stayed in the Queen Mountain View ensuite room which was very clean, comfortable and delightfully furnished. The owner has great attention to detail and was a gracious hostess. The house is lovely throughout and offers the amenities of home! We slept with the windows wide open and were not aware of road noise. We would stay again and recommend...

We enjoyed our stay in "The Cabin" over Family day long weekend. We'd be happy to stay again in the future. I was wondering if it might be noisy with the highway, but it wasn't at all. A slight downside is the bedroom window faces the side of the house with a sidewalk (for the house only). In the kitchen,...

We are Hiking the Great Divide Route, a 677 mile long hike on the Continental Divide. The Safe Haven was just absolutely heavenly. Very Clean, friendly and helpful. The food was amazing with fresh herbs from the yard. I especially enjoyed the relaxed environment to rest up for the next 9 day leg of our hike.

We stayed in their new stand alone house that had been completely renovated and had two bedrooms, bathroom, and huge living room kitchen. There was a bbq at the back and all the kitchen equipment you'd ever need. There was a huge new flat screen tv and as many dvd's as you'd like from their extensive library. While I don't...

We just spent the Canada Day long weekend at A Safe Haven B&B in Coleman, Alberta (part of the Crowsnest Pass). If you are thinking of travelling in this area, we highly recommend this charming B&B. They also have a family unit available if you are taking the family. I may have pictures to come, but really you would find...
