This hotel is perfect for people not wanting to move from the pool or people who use it as a base. We were the later. The rooms are very dated and the shower very very sentimental. The reception staff were very professional and would help in every way, the waiting staff worked very hard. The food was ok for a couple of days but got boring and not much choice , the breakfasts were the best. The beaches were very clean but the sea was murky and not very pleasant, so glad we had a car to see some beautiful beaches , Deep Bay beach, Long beach and Hodges Bay were all wonderful. We also had a beautiful meal at Cloggy's in Falmouth Harbour. On our last day my husband decided to go for a swim and he said the pool had lots of tiles missing and there was a green tinge to the water. Over all the holiday was OK but with just a few improvements this hotel could be wonderful.

Excellent front desk service, brilliant room service, good internet, nice and clean. Beaches are not suitable for swimming and very small. Meals are by menu only. Lack of fruits. No buffet type meals. No too many variety of meals. Only 2 power sockets in a room - not enough. Sockets were loose and not safe to plug - need to be very careful.

My partner and I have just returned from a 4 week All Inclusive holiday at this smallish Adult-only resort on the north coast of Antigua, overlooking the Caribbean Sea some 15 minutes drive west of the airport. The apartments are two/three stories mostly having a pool and sea view with a few steps leading down to the swimming pool which is flanked on either side by small golden sandy beachies. The resort and apartment were kept spotlessly clean with hygiene strongly evident, The room was safe and adequate. The resort is owned and run by an Italian couple who are clearly hands on and visible but around the resort but are approachable and consequently their cuisine is lacking in Caribbean dishes whilst featuring plently of fresh fish; seafood and meat accompanied by salads; rice; pasta and fries. You will never go hungry with good sized servings and chefs that are happy to mix and match with the menu. Obviously guests are here to view the beautiful island and when out visit the many local restaurants for lunch and dinner and have access to all the local dishes that the islands are famous for. The local roads leave much to be desired and signposts are few and far between but we found our way around by asking directions at the garages and larger shops who generally were only too happy to assist. The car and taxi hire are not cheap but many friends regularly used the local bus service which was cheap and reliable. The locally trained staff at the hotel made it for us. We have to mention Rossana the boss at reception who answered quieries before arrival plus KerryAnn in the restaurant and the magical barman Kean who is brilliant, all of whom made our stay memorable. Antigua has been in lockdown for two years with an 11pm-5am curfew that was lifted just before Christmas and as a result the bar closes at 10.30pm after being open for 12 hours daily. The beer and spirits on sale are of good quality but be careful of buying bottles of wine sold in $US but have service AND VAT to add making it 25% extra and in our opinion overpriced. When travelling out turn right towards St Johns for 5 mins; past the school and there is a superb supermarket on the left before the island selling good wine and spirits at Lidl prices. Also try to visit Half Moon Bay on the south coast which is a hidden gem We would recommend a visit.

Stayed for 11 nights in December. Thoroughly enjoyed the relaxation. We had a great ocean view room. Service was fantastic and everyone very friendly. This is marked as 4 star as the food could be better. Breakfasts are great however the dinners are not as good. Fish dishes could be cooked better better than what they are considering the fresh seafood on the doorstep. In general the hotel needs a bit of a facelift.
