Stayed for 4 nights until our villa became available, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, even as an older traveller I was very impressed with the facilities, loved the communal area and the outside kitchen which had everything you needed. The room was small and basic but I was provided with a fan which kept the room very cool. I was very impressed with the friendly staff and highly recommend it for the price. Thank you

I stayed 1 week at the Waterfront Inn and I liked it very much. I was in a single room (Then B) and it was perfect. I had a private terrace, all the necessary comforts (air conditioning, private bathroom, kettle, etc.). The photos are consistent with the room. The location is ideal. Close to restaurants (the one opposite the Waterfront is excellent) and bars, beaches (Pigeon and Galleon), Marina, supermarket, public transport (line 17) I've met beautiful people. Kim is very kind, attentive, willing to help, smiling. The two ladies who look after the Waterfront too are great and do a colossal job of keeping this place clean and welcoming.
Small catches: there is no hot water and at the end of the day, the mosquitoes are out and very hungry.

Me and a friend opted to stay here rather than the resorts. We are glad we did as we met lots of lovely people and was really sociable. Rooms are basic but meet the needs as we only slept in them and spent very little time in the room. Room was decorated nice and had a shower. The owners are friendly and relaxed as well as helpful in regarding the local area. We met many nice people on our stay in Antigua especially staying at the waterfront. Great views from the balcony. 👍🏼

Been to Antigua for a week out of the high season, when everything is almost shut and the Island offer the real Caribbean Life. Stayed at the Waterfront Hostel, a 10 room place with nice rooms with shower and shared facilities. The place offers cooking areas, fridge for your beers and a nice and relaxing atmosphere... the patio is directly on the harbour with palm trees and a sea view to die for.... wi-fi and with my little mac I skyped friends at home, absolutely fan-ta-stic !!!
Denis & Julia, the owners are very friendly and kind, there was only two of us staying there and the last night they invited us to have a BBQ at their place up on the hill... I never had a similar experience no where in the world..
If you want to go to the Caribbeans, and want an absolute taste of real life, you MUST hit Antigua and stay at the Waterfron, from $40 a night for a single up to $80 for a triple, you will have enough spare money to drink it up on the beach... and by the way... it seems that Denis is building a little bar on the patio terrace..... even better ;-)

Stayed for 3 days in January 2013. Dennis and Jules are the perfect hosts and the location is superb. This is not luxury but if you are backpacking. joining or leaving a yacht or just looking for a budget room this is what you need. Clean single/double rooms with a sink and shower, or a bunk room for those on a tighter budget. No A/C but ceiling and free standing fans. Breakfast is cooked to order by Jules and served on the terrace - see photos from other reviews. The free wi-fi helps you keep in touch and the night-life of Falmouth/English harbour a short stroll along the main road.

Myself and a sailing colleague stayed at Waterfront for a few days following a sailing trip. It is located in an ideal location to enjoy all the local restaurants/bars etc in Falmouth Harbour and English Harbour, the local beach (Pigeon Beach) is approx 10/15 mins walk away, so is obviously a good place for sailors to stay before or after sailing trips, or possibly while taking a sailing course, but it would also make an ideal budget priced base for other travellers including scuba divers (Extreme Marine Scuba is based downstairs - see separate review), walkers etc. The owners Dennis and Jules are superb hosts and are very helpful with any local arrangements that you need to make. As the name suggests, it is a hostel not a luxury hotel and therefore doesn't have many frills (fans in rooms - no A/C), but the terraced bar and lounge area overlooking the harbour is a great place to hang out and enjoy a drink while enjoying the view. All in all a great place and at a very attractive price in what can be considered an expensive island. I hope you enjoy staying there.

Stayed for one night only as had to come back to the uk but boyfriend stayed for nearly a week. What a lovely place, beautiful view to the harbour, very close to all the restaurants and cheap too. Only negative is the noise from the next door (radio on from 5am) but certainly theres nothing to do with the owners. Will go back not a question.

I had not been to Antigua for 10 years and could not wait to go back. My standards are pretty high so I was very happy to find this bright and cheery hostel overlooking the bay. Julia and Denis are the owners and they made me feel right at home. They have a little bar on the patio serving light meals and drinks, with hammocks, tables, internet / WiFi and the cutest little cat. I found the local yoga classes, walking excursions and massages an added luxury. It has a very chilled out colorful atmosphere and was exactly what I was looking for. Would have to also add that it is a good place to stay if you are looking to work on a yacht.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the waterfront inn Hotel both before and after my RYA sailing course in Antigua.
The experience was fantastic with such a great location, clean and tidy with great views of the Marina. It is literally on the doorstep of everything that is happening in that part of Antigua.
The owners of the hostel are so friendly and helpful being a wealth of knowledge on the area.
The international mixture of guests of all ages makes the communal areas and fully equipped kitchen a hive of relaxed conversations and trip planning.
With plenty of space on the elevated terrace area to find a space to work, just chill out alone using the fast internet or grab a book from the collection and lose an hour or two.
I really enjoyed my stay there and look forward to my next visit.

Can't think of anywhere else I would want to stay when in Falmouth. Had to overnight in Falmouth before setting off on a week's sailing. My brother called Dennis to arrange an overnight stay. LIAT airlines true to reputation did not keep our flight schedule. Arrived 8 hours late..just before midnight. Called and was given hostel access. Clean, functional, convenient and close to everything. Made ourselves at home and actually felt like being home away from home. Best value for money.

"The hostel is very quiet in the low season (May to November) which is good because there are rooms always available, but doesn't help with the atmosphere or meeting people (but the pub, 'Life on the Corner', is only a 5 minute walk away)."
There are more places to choose from in the English Harbour area.
