The Pineapple House cottages and crew house located in English Harbour, Antigua, overlook the world famous super yacht haven of English Harbour. Pineapple offers spectacular views and quintessential Caribbean style living in gorgeous and friendly setting. Being both 5 minutes walk from the beach and five minutes walk from the buzz of the town we are perfectly positioned for our guests to make the most of their holiday in Antigua.
Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
Pineapple House is in a great location in English Harbour right in the centre of activity. We stayed in Hibiscus which was a self contained unit at the top of a steep set of stairs. The view was worth it.
We had a large comfortable bed, fridge and cooking area so it was perfect. It is open to the elements but well sheltered. See pics. The rustic charm might not suit everyone but actually any material shortfalls really were irrelevant because the atmosphere nurtured by the host/owner Libby is what makes Pineapple House fun. It was safe and clean.
The majority of guests are crew from yachts and the hostel has a lovely vibe.

A fabulous place to stay in the perfect location. Close to all the amenities in English Harbour whilst being very peaceful. The cottage is set in pretty gardens with a fabulous view overlooking Falmouth Marina. The decor is beautiful and the room has a huge comfortable bed. Libby was the perfect host. Looking forward to returning.

It is difficult to put into words the special way that my stay at Pineapple House has touched my heart... The view, the people, the fun, the openness.. most of all, Libby, the owner who creates the vibe of welcome, loving honesty which captures your heart as soon as you walk through the door! I left inspired and I will most definitely be back! Libby helped me get day work on an incredible mega yacht which helped me through the Christmas period and opened my eyes to the opportunities that are available in Antigua.

This is not 5* but 10*!!! Amazing place! We stayed in Cleopatra, the room is beyond beautiful, the views are stunning. It has Libby’s touch everywhere, beautiful, quirky, personal! But staying in the Pineapple is not just about the room, it is becoming part of it. We couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay. Libby is the soul of this place and she is the most welcoming host. We didn’t want to leave. Thank you Libby for this everything.

I have never experienced anything like the Pineapple house before. Not sure where to begin! As other reviewers have said, it is very popular with super yacht crews and there is a lot of communal accommodation in the main house. We stayed in Cleo's, a private apartment up on the hill above the main house. When we first opened the door, it literally took my breath away... panoramic views over Falmouth Harbour, 4-poster bed piled with cushions, white linens and a mosquito net, huge kitchen... ahh! The setting is absolutely stunning and the location is ideal, just a few minutes walk from the marina and equally close to Pigeon beach which is great for swimming. There is also a small sailing dinghy available for guests to use, which was a really lovely touch.
However, the really special thing about the Pineapple House is Libby, the owner. She is truly the hostest with the mostest and became a very good friend during the time that we stayed there, makng us feel completely at home. The other staff members, Robert and Claudine, were so lovely and always on hand to help us out with whatever we needed.
We stayed over christmas and Libby welcomed us into her home on Christmas morning for a big champagne breakfast, where we decorated the house with palm leaves gathered from her gardens and all pitched in to help with the cooking...it was an unforgettable Christmas day! It's a very social place to stay, often we would come home from dinner and find a little impromptu party going on in the main house - fun times! If you're looking for privacy the apartments are probably a better choice than the communal area, and we didn't feel that we had to participate in all the socialising, it was just there if you felt like joining in. The atmosphere is very relaxed and fun, and we met some really great people there.
The Pineapple House is not a 5-star resort type place but it has its own, very special kind of magic.. I really don't think there is anywhere else on earth quite like it, and I wish we were still there! Libby, thank you for everything, we miss you!!

Lots of mega yacht crew stay here as well as occasional short term vacationers. Excellent source for what's happening each day and evening. Some private cabins as well as bunk house style beds. Up a steep hill so be prepared to climb lots of stairs. Very communal feel. Don't expect a lot of privacy but do expect to meet good people. Plan on joining at least one happy hour .... byo.

This property is fantastic in the whole sense of the word. It is a FANTASY to be there with the nice waterfront view, the tropical birds that come close to the common areas, the quiet and white linen relaxing ambiance The host is remarkably welcoming. It has many levels as it is located on a hill next to the harbor. One goes up through stairs through a natural gardens and gazebos. This property is not merely for staying over night, but to actually to stay in throughout the day and enjoy of the enormous pleasure it causes to it´s guests. A place to unwind completely and after a copule of nights stay, all the guests become familiar with each other making it a very friendly place to spend ones time resting or engaging into any type of conversation with new people. There are two beaches within 15 minutes walk: Pigeon and Windward beaches.

I visited Antigua through my work on a yacht and for a regatta in late January/early Feb, The atmosphere is so friendly on arrival, it is like your already part of the pineapple house family. If privacy is what you want then it may not suit, however I met some amazing people, had a great bbq, enjoyed the rum and enjoyed every minute of my stay. I must add, its location is perfect, just down the road is pigeon beach and the other way you have centre of English harbour and bars, restaurants etc.
Libby, you are amazing, what a cool place you have created. Keep it up, I'll see you soon!

The warmest welcome I've ever had while travelling. This place is definitely a home away from home. Fabulous view, endless supply of rum punch, fantastic people, and lots of laughter. A five minute walk from Pigeon Beach and a 10 minute walk from Nelson's Dockyard... it could not be in a better location. Not to mention, Libby is an AMAZING host and wants nothing more than for her guests to be happy. You will not be disappointed... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

The warmest welcome we ever had, the most beautiful romantic cottages on the hill side overviewing the harbour. Awesome. The host is called Libby and is very caring and fun to hang out with, it was really difficult to leave. Many guests come back every year. Recommended for couples, groups and singles, there are different choices of accommodation.
