Another relaxing trip to the Tam. The newly renovated King room is larger and has a sofa and two chairs. Bathroom now has double sinks with large drawers for towels, etc. The shampoo is now a combo shampoo and conditioner. We stayed in room 1501 which is near the towel hut and the main area but it's still quiet. Room "key" is now part of the bracelet which means you don't have to remember to bring your card.. Pool towels and reusable water bottles are waiting in the room for you. You exchange your towels each day without needing towel cards. You can now also use the 3 pools at Divi Dutch Village. Food-much better than our last visit in 2019. Get the Divi Tam app. You can make dinner reservations on the app even before your arrival. Still can only do for 2 days out. Unfortunately renovated Ginger was not yet open but should be now. We ate at the Red Parrot, Papparazzi, Pure Lime and the buffet at Tam and Divi. Julietta and Marwin at Papprazzi were great. Celebrated our anniversary at Red Parrot and had another great meal there. The coconut shrimp are my favoirite. Pure LIme is okay, service great-definitely recommen the Caldo de Camarones soup. Food at the buffets was very good. You don't have to wait around for your made to order food--you get a buzzer to let you know when it's ready for pick up. Gladys at reception was so friendly and helpful. All the bartenders, servers. bellman, shutlle helpers and drivers were friendly and helpful. I know I would forget some if I mentioned names. Always a great afternoon trip to the Bunker Bar. Beach at Tam is prety eroded unless you are buidling 1800 and above. Main pool was never crowded when we were there. Now beach towels on the chairs-never had a problem getting a lounger.

The rooms were very clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly. Mr. Dimbo who works at the front took care of our bags and made sure we got to our rooms. When we departed he made sure all of our bags were in the right location and helped us load and unload luggage. We was incredibly helpful and provided us great recommendations for the island. We was an absolute pleasure to talk to and was our favorite person to converse with at the resort. Always smiling! Our beach front walk out was located on the second floor. The beach in front of our room was unaccessible due to large rocks but we were able to utilize other parts of the beach. The water is stunning and the sunsets were magnificent. The resort is close to the airport without getting a lot of outside noises. It felt very private. The staff was also helpful arranging transportation between the other Divi resorts like the golf course and casino, as well as restaurants located outside the resort.

Average family resort. A solid 3 star, but no more. Your enjoyment of Tam would be strictly proportionate to the room you are in. If you happened to be in the building with access to the beach you would probably like it. However those buildings are rather far from the lobby and etc. We stayed in building 23 which was fine. When the power went out we were moved to another building closer to the lobby but no direct beach access. Overall resort is fine. Solid 3 start. Ok food, you won’t starve. Average all inclusive food. If the beach situation improves we would consider it again.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at the Divi All Inclusive and spent much of our time at the sister resort, the Tamaryn! We enjoy the walk between both resorts and occasionally take the tram which runs all the time! Enjoyed all the Tamaryjn restaurants and really loved seeing our Divi/Tamarijn family again. We especially love seeing Miguelina at the Cucunu Terrace. Miguelina is warm and welcoming and one of the reasons we've been back 8 times! We also enjoy the gym located at the Tamaryjn, the views are spectacular from every treadmill, elliptical or bike. Looking forward to our next visit so much!

Tamarijan- Aruba Stay Tuesday 5/2 to Monday 5/8 I am a 72 year old man who has traveled to many place in my life during cruises and self travel with family. We are not rich but enjoy great food experiences as well as good hotel accommodations and customer service. We don't look for bargain prices and don't mind paying for good quality experiences. This is an honest review of what I experienced.... I would rate the Tamarijan- Aruba as a "3 Star out of 5" rating personally as a rating for hotel room accommodations, restaurant food quality, and general comfort for guests (pool sitting areas, bar seating, restaurants tables and chairs). Here are the great points- I would rate the Tararijan the employees and staff with a "5 stars" as they were great with the guests and provided fun, courteous, personal interaction with guests. There was always a hello, smile, and pleasant conversation with the staff. Lot's of laughs with the folks at bar. I also enjoyed my rides in the electric golf cart like transports from the lobby to various resort guest buildings as well as the the Divy. Since I have some physical limitations in walking, it was great to get rides from our hotel room in building 24 to the main lobby which were available at all hours. The drivers were awesome and easily chatted with guests. There is a beachfront boardwalk the runs from one end of the resort to the other in front of all the buildings. It's has lights on it so that night time walks are great while hearing the ocean waves. The Bunker Bar on the boardwalk is a great small place to view the ocean and watch pelicans. The Papparazi italian restaurant is the best for food. Resort Guest Buildings- All rooms in the resort have oceanfront views. However, most of buildings DO NOT HAVE beachfront sand beaches that guests simply walkout and swim in the ocean. The majority of the buildings have rocks formations in front of the ocean waves. Guests need to use the main swimming pool or go to other locations to swim in the ocean. Anyone staying in Buildings 11-18 have NO direct ocean beach access. Guest staying in Buildings 19,21 and 22 are able to swim in the ocean however, beach front sand area is limited. THE BEST buildings where guests are able to swim in the ocean in front of their rooms are Buildings 23,24, and 25. DO NOT STAY in any buildings next to or close main hotel lobby, restaurants, and bars if you want get any quiet rest or sleep. The music being played is loud and does not get quiet till 11:00 PM Food- There's nothing special or exciting about the food in the general buffet restaurant. They offer a a variety of food selections for breakfast through dinner. Some choices are cook to order (omelettes, burgers, salads) while others are buffet trays. You can choose what you like and eat as much as you want. We ate at the Palms Grill where you are able to select your choice of 2 food menu items and then cook and prepare these on your own at your table that has cooking area for the food. The problem was that the portion size of the two menu items to was so small that it was worthless. In my case 3 small shrimps and about 4oz of tunna. The Papparazzi italian restaurant was very nice and the food was very good. Enjoyed the Ossobucco, Salmon, and Veal. Service was great. The Bar and Drink Options- The people working at the bars were great. Very friendly and chatted with the guYemanja Wood Fired Grill- Aruba (Thursday 5/4)

This was an excellent place to stay. I recommend an ocean front room with a balcony on the second floor (there are ground and second floor rooms facing the beach). It was like having your own private beach. There are a variety of restaurants (make reservations) to choose from and the food and service was great. Note the main pool / two bar area is loud. The DJ blasts dance club music starting about 11:00 AM when the bar opens and there were a lot of young children. There is a large side pool if you are looking to relax a little more. I noticed a nice mix of families and couples. This all inclusive was worth it and we would come back again.

My husband and I love the Tamarijn! This was our fourth visit. We were disappointed this year because the beach in from of the Tamaijn was nonexistent. We always request building 22 because the beach is outstanding. This year it was a steep drop off from the boardwalk (reason for 4 instead of 5 stars). Also it was the rainiest January we have ever seen. Neither of those issues were within their control, but thought the beach issue others would want to know about. Now on to the WONDERFUL people who work there. There were so many it's hard to pick just a few, but Verushka and Yaldo stand out. Verushka works at the front desk and she was so helpful every time we spoke to her. Starting with her pleasant greeting upon check-in to working so hard with us to try to move rooms to one with a slightly better beach. She never seemed anything but delighted to see us each time we passed through the lobby. And then there is Yaldo. He is the server extraordinaire at Red Parrot. He remembers us from year to year, as well as our favorite beverages and food selections. He goes above and beyond night after night and always has a big smile and hug at the ready. Thanks you, both of you, for contributing to yet another outstanding visit. We will be back!

We had a very nice stay at the Tamarijn and would recommend it for families. It is not the most luxurious resort we have stayed at but it was nice and worked well for our family. The rooms are nice and well cleaned daily. The bathroom is a bit small and the shower did not drain very well. Beds were comfortable and air worked well. We were on the ground level right next to a sandy stretch of beach. Other beach areas were more rocky. There was a nice little porch outside the room. The main beach between the two resorts was very nice. The workers were helpful in setting up chairs. The ocean was beautiful with mild waves. There are also numerous pools at the resort. None were ever too crowded, with the main pool being the most crowded. Only the bar near the main pool was part of the all-inclusive. It would be nice if the other bars were included as we were at one of the outer rooms and spent a fair amount of time at the pools near our room, so it was a long walk if we wanted something to eat or drink, but not horrible. The food was fine. We mainly ate at the buffet. Breakfast was the best meal. Others were pretty good - nothing fancy, but again, very kid friendly. Items sometimes ran out, especially desserts. Be warned that it is very hard to get reservations for the non-buffet restaurants during peak hours, especially since Ginger was closed. If you are interested in these, it might make sense to make reservations before you arrive - it seemed like you had to make them very early in the morning two days ahead of time. We went to Paparazzi and it was nice to eat in a nicer environment with a waitress, but the food was not dramatically better. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Some were more proactive than others but overall we had a very good experience. We had no issues checking in or out - staff and bellmen were helpful and it went quickly and smoothly.

The staff at the registration desk and the concierge were outstanding and helpful. My room was water front. I believe most if not all of the rooms are water front. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The common areas were welcoming, plenty of seating and access to the pools and ocean. Definitely a great place to relax and feel comfortable.

We brought our family of eight to Aruba because we wanted to share what we love about the island after 10 previous trips here. We stayed at this resort because we had two kids under 10 and got their stay for free. All in all a great place to stay. Some aspects of the stay were a bit less than great. The beach was the worst. Lots of beach erosion. Palapas were reserved by guests by leaving their personal items there and were gone for hours unused. Food in the buffet that was not cooked upon order was barely warm. Example of this: waffles and pancakes not hot enough. Bathroom resign was poor. Felt very cramped especially when you had to use the toilet. Check in took forever and the rooms were not even ready more than 30 minutes after check in time. But otherwise the rooms were spacious and the beds comfortable. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. Would I return with my family? Yes of course. If we come alone we would book elsewhere.
