This has been our 6th or 7th stay at Hilton. Staff is excellent and we enjoy seeing the same people every year from breakfast to dinner. Housekeeper Violet was a pleasure to speak with every morning. The one thing I’d say if mgmt is reading these reports, hotel rooms are in need of a refurbishing . They are getting dated . And Breakfast could use some sprucing up. Overall always a great stay, but could use some improvements
Our party of six spent seven nights earlier this month at the Hilton Aruba on Palm Beach. The hotel is conveniently located near several restaurants, bars, and shops and everything is very walkable. We were greeted warmly at reception and our luggage was taken to our rooms located in the Curacao tower. We have always stayed in this building and it is great for our family's needs. The rooms are clean and well-appointed and our balconies overlooked the Laguna restaurant/green area leading to the pool. Housekeeping was great - our room was always tidy with plenty of toiletries. We pre-paid for beach palapas prior to our trip, so we got to select the ones we wanted ahead of time. One particular beach server, Christian, was great - he was helpful and very kind to our young children. We lunched on the beach or at Gilligan's daily - the fish tacos are terrific, as was the Caesar salad with grilled shrimp. This hotel has an awesome bird sanctuary where you can interact with various tropical birds. There are two large swimming pools and daily Bingo at the poolside restaurant, Gilligan's. The hotel has a fine dining restaurant, Sunset Grille. We did not get a chance to try it, but the menu looks amazing and the views would be beautiful. The casino has a poker room. The WSOP has events at this property. In the lobby, you can find Oscar's Market, which has great sandwiches, desserts, wines and other spirits, and a great gelato selection, among other things. Finally, there is a great open-air bar just below the lobby that offers nightly entertainment. The hotel has, in my opinion, the best strip of beach/sand on Palm Beach. This was my fourth stay here overall and my second with my young children. We always enjoy this property and look forward to many more visits in the future.…
Well we can all read how fabulous this place is, how good the food is and the location is perfection. I stayed here for my first international vacation with my daughter who was 9 months old. This is the best place to bring a baby. You can rent the beach huts online and request: a pack and play, swim diapers and beach toys. This was amazing!!! Everyday she took a great beach nap and I didn't have to carry a pack and play or go back to the room. Oh and the zero entry pools made for a great splash pad! The location is also key for walking to nice dinners but being home fast. Absolutely amazing, as we all know!
Pros: Great location, Gorgeous grounds , clean , big pools great beach . We spent 5 days in this hotel. Room was small, dark, but clean. Coffee in the room is the worst I have ever tried. Cons: Small Room , heavy entrance doors, all very outdated super old interior. Lack of accomodations in terms of little things in the shower room. No bath robe and slippers, no qtips, make up remover padds. or simpe toothbrush and tooth paste. I paid alot alot of money not to get those small neccessary things. The hotel needs major updating in terms of their rooms and buildings. The building doors are dirt , heavy and coming apprtin some places. Very unnattractive for Hilton brand. food at breakfast waas so and so very mediocre.I will not be back . i will stay with Hyatt or Ritz next time although Ritz is outdated asw ell but hopefullu they have better rooms and so on.…
Everyone on the staff was phenomenal!!! Always friendly n eager to help you! The rooms were very nice! Location to everything was within walking distance. Great amenities too! From the poolside/ Oceanside services, to our wonderful mani/pedis, and wonderful massages! Just so impressed with everything! My only dislike was the shower. It was clean, that wasn’t the problem. I just didn’t like the type of shower. It was one of the showerheads directly over you. The one person who stood out was our housekeeper Violeta! She was fantastic!!! I can’t say enough greats things about her! Always smiling, ready and willing to accommodate the client in their needs! When I come back, I will specifically ask for her floor, that’s how great she is! Definitely a memorable experience, can’t wait to come back. …
Great location, great resort. Staff are very friendly and make you feel so great. We were upgraded to a great room with a great view. We ate at the Sunset Grille & David was our waiter. He was super great & his assistants were also really great. Food & service were great. Ask for David …. Beach is awesome and the pools are great too. The location of this Hilton is perfect. The night life is right outside the property and it’s a very safe area. There is a beach walk ( sidewalk) that goes to one end to the Ritz Hotel and the other way it goes for a few miles. Very convenient.
We spent 5 days in this hotel. Room was small, dark, but clean. Coffee in the room is the worst I have ever tried. Some kind of filter coffee. This is what they offer you for breakfast also. Double check your bill on checkout. Even if we had included breakfast in the package, they put it in the final check. So I find it very unproffesional. You have to book free palapa in advance, day before exacly in 12:30???? Or you can pay 74.5$ for the first line to the see if you want. Every next line is little bit cheaper but not much. Hotel is clean and nice and staff is friendly. It is okay option if you don't have better one.
On our last day of a seven Day vacation. As always not ready to leave paradise. We visit the Hilton twice a year and it never disappoints. From the moment we arrive, we receive a warm welcome by Francisco Silvio and Johnny and others. Check in is a pleasure. The rooms are well-maintained, and they provide plenty of towels, toiletries, and turn down service if requested. Breakfast buffet is extensive. Special shout out to Yeda, Maria, Richard and Albert. The entire breakfast staff is always ready to accommodate you, as well as the beach attendants. It’s always great to return to the Mira solo and be greeted by Roddy, Steve, Tico and Jean Pierre. Besides dining at various restaurants on the island, we enjoyed a fabulous meal at the Sunset Grill. Our waiter, Orlando, and new manager Julian made sure our dinner met the highest standards. Until next time Hilton family…Wouldn’t dream of staying anywhere else.…
I booked a garden view room and when I received the optional upgrade offers, I accepted both the full ocean view and partial ocean view. I was fortunate and received a full ocean view on the Palm Beach Club floor of the main tower. I think I paid like $150 more a day, I am a diamond but I have learned that expecting a major upgrade at the busiest time of year is not likely so I was find paying the $150. I am very glad I did as I received free Palapa rentals that saved about $90 a day right there and they also have a great club lounge that is open from about 6am to 7pm. There is a good breakfast and great sandwich, chicken fish incredible chocolate chip cookies and free bottle water soda etc that you can take to your room or at least I did not one ever said anything :). I recommend going to the main.restaurant for breakfast if you are a diamond member you get like $15 off the $25 all you can eat menu and they have tons of cook to order things like steak and eggs, Huevos rancheros etc. I would recommend reserving you palapa early online if you are going busy season the ocean front are way better then the ones in back seemed less crowded at the front. I did walk down to Embassy Suits which is about 1 mile down the road and please not it is NOT on the beach. You have to cross a road and a parking lot so if you are thinking of staying there just an FYI. IT looked nice from the outside but was not open yet. If you are taking a taxi to the hotel it is about $30 US. Also need to add the staff at the hotel is very friendly especially at the main breakfast restaurant they remember where you like to sit and what you eat and drink! …
So wonderful to get to Aruba and stay in an affordable family friendly environment that still maintains a high standard. It would have worked well as family or just a couple. A rare quality. We will return.
