Detailed Reviews
This is a really nice resort that treats you special. Very safe and sanitized with temperature checks, constant cleaning and testing on site to come back to U.S. We had a great week and the breakfast are awesome and inexpensive. The beach is a top 10 in the world and not noisy with watercraft and such. Very relaxing at the ocean with it's perfect sand or by the pool. We really had a great time and would recommend.

We were worried about traveling but had airlines credits that were expiring. We have been to Aruba before and thought if something should happen, we would have quality care. That was confirmed when we saw that medical insurance was required to be purchased from Aruba. They also required a negative Covid test no more than 72 hours from last airport takeoff. Note: they do not tell you to bring a printed copy of the negative test and you might not think you need it since the government website has you upload it to get a pre-approved travel document. Nobody asks for the travel document. They just want to see the copy of the negative test results.
Costa Linda couldn’t make us feel safer! Hand sanitizer mounted everywhere. Rooms were extremely sanitized (they show you how in a video). Even on the beach they wipe everything down in front of you. Temps are taken upon entry.
Some other things to note: the high end stores downtown are closed. As for right now we are told there aren’t any cruise ships and tourism is at about 10% of normal. The country completely relies on tourism so they take your safety seriously. So do your part and wear a mask. Don’t visit if you think you might have been exposed.
The beaches are for the most part empty. So far now I feel safer here than at home. Welcome to your happy place!

The resort itself was beautiful and the beach was amazing! But more importantly, with the current COVID concern, I really appreciated the extra measures they took to keep everyone safe. Some of the things they did was:
Prior to being able to enter the lobby from outside the resort (anytime you left and re-entered), they took each person's temperature and had each person immediately sanitize their hands. (Actually most every place of business .... grocery stores and restaurants took each person's temperature and made each person sanitize there hands prior to entering). I REALLY appreciated this!
Also, the resort sanitized all pool and beach chairs daily as safety precautions.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The resort was super clean! I extended an additional week and hope to return again maybe next year.

while i was here with my family we stayed at one of the ground level 3 bedroom suites. The layout was nice along with the outdoor area. We got a three bedroom three bath room for $5000. Throughout our stay our suite was filled with a raw sewage stink. The smell made it very difficult to enjoy being in our room. Also, they told us that we were the reason for the room smelling. They threatened to charge us $75 a day for cleaning if we didn’t pick up. In addition, the facilities and lobby were very outdated and needed an update badly. The pool was very old and along with the areas around the pool. This resort is a timeshare and it seems like they treated us (renters) differently than the timeshare owners. The part that was least like a vacation and relaxing was getting up at 5:30 every morning to go and race for a chair. This was very unpleasant. And on top of that u had to stay there till 7 or your belongings would be removed. The only good thing was the weather and being on the island of Aruba. Displeased with our entire stay there.

We stayed in this property thinking it was a partner of Playa Linda. We previously stayed at Playa Linda multiple times and loved each time. However, this year they were fully booked and it was impossible to find a reservation. After we arrived to this resort we quickly realized they are not partners. Once we arrived to Costa Linda, we were not greeted by anyone, no bell service no host, I mean no one. We took out our luggage, checked in at the front desk and again, no one asked us if we required bell service or assistance brining our bags to the room. At this point I don’t even believe they have bell service. We were give our room keys and took the kids and our 4 luggages plus a stroller and made our way to our rooms. We were told the rooms were renovated recently, few years ago, however it sure did not seem that way. The room was big, however the furniture was so bulky it was hard to get around the table and the bedrooms. The restaurants are dull, staff of the resort seemed to be unhappy and tired. There was bird poop and iguana droppings all around the pool area. Baby pool was dirty and did not seem to be filtered. Be careful with ordering drinks at the bar, they use some cheap alcohol, my wife who barely every drinks, asked me if I got her a virgin mojito. Second time I requested a specific alcohol to be mixed in, it was the same outcome, basically they rob you here. Wifi is not free you must pay, $35 US dollars for 7 days up to 4 devices. There is a long walk to the beach. Red ants are all over around the palapas it was truly disgusting. We have been traveling to Aruba every year for the past 7 years this was by far the worst experience we have ever had.

The pros:
Great bar staff, clean and spacious rooms, pretty nice finishes, not as crowded as the high rises and not crazy like many places in getting a nice spot by the pool or on the each to chill with some shade. Gym was better than most places we have stayed. Located right on the beach on the low rise without having to cross a street like most places in the low rise section which was a big plus for us. A more chill beach than palm (high rise area).
The cons:
We were in room 3016 and for the life of me I don't understand why this hotel has some of the loudest toilets I have ever heard. The toilet above us also woke us up most nights at 130-330AM from the main bedroom bathroom. Something really should be done to invest in either ceiling sound proofing or normal toilets. A pet peeve that we really don't enjoy waking up every night on vacation in the early hours due to a flushing toilet in the room above. First time ever having to dock a review because of a noisy commode and have stayed at hundreds of hotels and resorts over the years for business and pleasure.
Main king bed was firm and decent (not the best and not the worst). The 2 singles in the extra bedroom were just adequate. Main bedroom should have 4 pillows instead of two or at least two nice pillows.
Also like several resorts in Aruba there are some sewer smells at various spots on the resort.
Would we come back -- yes... Would we stay in 3016 again, no... Prefer a solid night's sleep before going diving the next morning and hoping this toilet noise issue is isolated to certain rooms.
Looking forward to on our next visit to be able to give a solid 5 star review as these should be relatively easy fixes to make for an excellent stay versus very good.

We have stayed twice at Costa Linda, renting from an owner each time. The 3 bedroom, 4 bath unit with the huge balcony overlooking the beach is divine. We had 6 people in our family and never felt crowded, the unit has plenty of room. We did encounter a few issues in the unit, but the staff took care of things as soon as was allowed.
The units are looking a bit tired, even though I realize they were renovated a few years ago. Far too many beach loungers are broken with remedies of fixing them that don't quite work. My main issue with this resort is that I believe they are most likely the ONLY resort on the island that charges for Wifi. This would be fine and good if the process of buying a Wifi card was seamless, however, ours kept dropping a device, at least every day. This meant constant trips to the front desk so they could reset the card. I finally gave up and got the more expensive plan with my cell carrier. We needed the Wifi access for work and elderly family at home.
You will be hard pressed to find a better resort on such a beautiful beach, especially if you are traveling with a group who is staying together.

We were able to rent a week over Christmas this year as a getaway. We've been to Aruba 5 prior times but this was our first at the Costa. It definitely met our expectations and the hype that the timeshare owners had expressed to us. The staff were so great and definitely make it what it is. Rossy at the restaurant/bar was always smiling. Rooms were nice, extremely quiet, we slept like logs each night. The quiet beach is unbelievable. We have spent the last few years up at Palm Beach which is also great, but it was nice to just have so much space! The new configuration of the road means you can bike/run up to Palm Beach or to the airport, without ever running on the road! Such a treat. As we talked to repeat vacationers there we consistently heard how much people enjoyed their time there. You can add us to that list now. See you again soon we hope!

Costa Linda is an elegant and beautiful open air family oriented time share resort directly on the beach with a great restaurant, the Water's Edge. It is located directly across the road from Aruba's main hospital. It was easier to find a hut on the beach versus my experience as an owner at Playa Linda. However, it was a very long walk to get to the water from our chairs. Bingo seemed to be oriented towards teenagers versus adults with very small cash prizes The highlight of this trip was our room on the ground floor with a view of the pool. It had a ceiling fan on the patio and the way the room was designed gives privacy to those in the two bedrooms. They are spaced nicely apart. The Master Bedroom has a beautiful roman-type shower with huge space to put your toilet articles. All rooms are two or three bedrooms at Costa Linda. The staff at the front desk, beach attendants, and housekeeping were kind and very approachable. This resort is in the low-rise section, so besides the Alhambra casino and mall, do not expect many stores or restaurants in walking distance. There is Elioti's, a casual italian restaurant in the front of resort, Elements next door at the Tara-Bucati, the Manchebo Beach resort with Ike's Bistro and Chops Restaurant, Kokoa at the Aruba Beach Club Resort and Matthew's at the Casa del Mar. It was a nice change to try out the Costa Linda.

We’re now staying here a week, after spending a few nights at the Playa Linda beach resort. All
of us, including my 2 year old, is loving it, the pools, the beach & chasing the iguanas. It’s very relaxed. The only thing that bothered us a bit was the room - we have a ‘garden view’ and it’s actually looking onto a car park and gets quite a bit of base music noise from Coco loco bar on the beach. Luckily it’s over by about 10pm and from my daughters room it can’t be heard much. The 2bed suite though was perfect! Had everything we needed. The weather here is superb & we would definitely come back again at this time of year. It’s so quiet & no queuing for Chiccis (umbrellas). The beach is amazing & the sea is like a swimming pool! So clear, great for paddling, snorkelling or swimming. It’s just paradise! Also highly recommend Ricardos restaurant just as you walk left up the beach for breakfast- the fruit and chocolate pancakes are heavenly!
