Although this is an older resort it is spotless and well cared for. The staff is super friendly and helpful. We were in a 2 bedroom and it was spacious and well equiped. The deck had a table and chairs with a partial view of the sea. Remember this is a condo so no bathroom amenities except bar soap. The little store was reasonablly priced and even carried 1.5 L of Barefoot wines. Location is perfect walkable to casino, shops and great resturants. Will be back!

Casa Del Mar had everything you needed to make your vacation enjoyable. Shops , casino, and restaurants across the street, beautiful pools, with a beautiful white sandy beach within steps from your condo. The staff go above and beyond and the resort was super clean.

The check in was seamless. The check in staff said no wifi but we could have it for $35 for the week. No mention of any surcharges. We got our room keys and off we went. The room was in the presidential section and was nice. The second bedroom had no windows and you felt like you were in a prison four walls etc. Now the on site restaurant Matthews was nice and they gave you a 10% discount for cash but not all of the staff seem to recognize that fact. Had to remind some of them and they also add in gratuity and frankly some of the staff didn't deserve it. The beach was great just not enough huts / umbrellas plus people would hoard chairs and lounge chairs. Unlike many other timeshares we have stayed at no washer / dryer in unit. You had to purchase tokens at front desk and it was very expensive. $21 for 6 tokens. Now on check out got the big surprise there was an Environment surcharge / government timeshare tax and a daily electric surcharge. Added another $243 to a several days stay. Very surprising and there was no mention of this.…

Dear 450ts, Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback. From your shared items, we can see you've stayed at the resort as a "guest of member". Casa del Mar aims to provide the best guest experience for everybody staying at our resort, especially when it is their first time. However, we are sorry to read not everything was experienced that way. Our lobby Area offers free Wi-Fi, for those who do not wish to purchase the packages. All of our bedrooms do have windows, some of them however have a view on the hallway which is why we have them milked out. Regarding the restaurant, we've forwarded your feedback with our concessionaire Matthews for further review and would like to apologize on their behalf for any inconvenience you have experienced during your stay. We recommend alerting the pool attendant or security in case of any misuse of the beach chairs, for them to properly address the matter. The Environment Surcharge / Government timeshare tax and a daily electric surcharge, as you occupied the suite by renting privately from a member, it is the members responsibility to inform their guests of these additional charges when doing so. First time to Aruba and Casa Del Mar (CDM); we traded on RCI. Quieter section of the island that's more about enjoying the relaxation of the beach and pool, gorgeous beach right on the resort, easy walk on the beach to Divi Beach to the south and Eagle Beach to the north. The 2 bedroom suite had a well-equipped full kitchen (no dishwasher), very clean suite with 2 showers, 1 hot tub (bring your own shampoo/body wash). Groceries at Ling & Sons was a no cost shuttle ride away, and $8 taxi ride back (too much stuff for the shuttle) - L&S was fully-stocked. CDM is associated with the Aruba Beach Club (ABC) next door, so you get access to 2 resorts. 2 excellent restaurants (we ate at both): Matthews at CDM and Ricardo's at ABC - both are right on the beach and offer outstanding sunset views! Easy to get to High Rise district (northwest) and cruiseport (southeast) for restaurants/shopping/night life/excursions: taxi pricing is fixed by schedules ($8-13) and buses run all day ($2.60). Beautiful beach with great hospitality. Easy car ride from the airport Many restaurants within short walking distance and many more about a mile and a bit further. The water is spectacular- you can see through it so clearly. We started each day with a two mile walk on the beach and ended it listening to the surf.

This was my first visit, and I definitely be going back. We had a 2-bedroom, ocean front. It was beautiful. A good share of the people that were there were owners and had been coming back for 20+ years. They were all very friendly. It's a quite resort, and I very much enjoy that. The staff was very friendly. Matthews' beachside restaurant on the premises was very reasonably price. It was a wonderful vacation.

Casa Del Mar (CDM) has been around since about 1986. There are some young families there, especially during school vacation week, but many older families who have been timeshare owners for decades. CDM is well managed and upgrades facilities on an ongoing scheduled basis to stay up to date. Everyone on the staff is very friendly and as accommodating. The cleanliness is perfect inside and out (rooms, common areas, pool, beach and restaurant, tennis and pickle ball courts etc).

I want to give a HUGE shout out to Frank from Hunter Security , early morning patrol at Casa Del Mar beach , he has such an infectious laugh, great personality, he offered to carry my beach bag !!! Gives out the local news paper !!!! Just love him !!! Can’t wait til next year !!!!

This place is a dump I was moved to 5 different room 4 on Saturday when I checked in do to mold in the room the 4th room had a broken water line 5th and final room was ok but lost a lot of time moving the a/c vents are full of mold through out the building the owner I rented from and the general manager could care less as long as they got paid I tried to get my money back I was offered a $100 voucher to Matthew's restaurant hardly compensation for the time I lost on my trip moving from room to room I will never go back here every again nor will I recommend this place to anyone over priced Dump!!!!
