As owners we come to Casa every year. The resort is constantly updating and maintaining the grounds and the employees are friendly and helpful. The location is one of the best on the island and the beach is wide with white soft sand and beautiful water. The rooms are great and we find that the people who come year after year are a testament to how wonderful Casa treats the guests. It feels like family here and we have made many friends over the years. You can walk to at least ten restaurants and there is a huge casino across the street. We always send a grocery order to Pat at the minimart before the trip and she has all our essentials waiting for us when we arrive. Cannot say anything negative about the resort. A special shout out to bell captain Jonathan who is always ready to help with anything needed and smiling all the time. Thanks guys for making us feel Covid safe the entire trip! Just a great place.

Casa Del Mar has been our home away from home since the early 1990's and we are now on the 4th generation of family that is enjoying the property. Last year (July of 2022) the resort was experiencing serious maintenance issues with AC and elevators. We were extremely pleased with the final outcome of these issues, as our AC was ICE ICE cold, and the brand new elevators are a welcomed upgrade to the resort.
July is a great time of year to enjoy Casa Del Mar, as there is always chickees available at both the pool and beach, even for those of us who sleep in until 9/10AM. The housekeeping team does a great job getting our units cleaned, the staff at the towel stations, and front desk are always on point.
The value we get for having a two bedroom, two bathroom apartment, directly on the beach is unmatched on the island.
Want to give a special shout to Jonathon at the Bell Captain desk. Jonathon goes above and beyond to make my family stay as seamless as possible. Since we stay for more time then we own, we are typically having to change units at least once, and Jonathon makes sure out stuff gets transferred without any effort from us. He is usually the first face we see when we arrive at the resort and always has a smile. He is an asset to the Casa Del Mar.
Also want to give a special thank you to Levi who makes sure the chairs are set up by the pool and beach huts, and also helped us set up the grill for a cookout we did. He is attentive and always greeted us with a smile. Thanks Levi.
For familys that are not looking for traditional hotel accommodations, and like to have a full kitchen and more space at their disposal, Casa Del Mar should be on your radar. You can rent directly from other owners, or see if the resort has availabilities in their rental pool.

We had the best time. This resort was perfect for what we were looking for. It was not in a commercialized area, ie where the high rises are but was only 5 min away by taxi. The atmosphere was very relaxing, located on Eagle Beach, the water was crystal blue, Matthew's restaurant had great food and drinks for a very reasonable price, the service was excellent. Jean at the concierge was extremely helpful and assisted us with excursions, dinner reservations, COVID testing, and many other things. Everyone was very friendly and we enjoyed ourselves tremendously. Taxi service was available to go to anywhere on the island for a very reasonable price.

A good resort for relaxed fun away from the busier beachers like Eagle beach. Seems like most guests are regulars here so quite close knit. We were greeted by a very friendly bellman who seemed knowledgeable about the island and we used his recommendations. Thank you :-)
The problem was that our flight arrived very early. I'd emailed the FD supervisor beforehand and had been told that if we register at 9am on the arrival day we could wait around for our room to be ready. We did this but the room wasn't ready until 3pm! We had been travelling with no sleep for over 24hrs with a baby and just wanted somewhere peaceful to lay down. We received no such thing, not even words of reassurance or some comfort. For a vacation we had long looked forward to this was a terrible welcome. Our friends arrived the following day and after some rest we were able to enjoy ourselves although all of us were shocked at the rudeness of the HK woman that cleaned our room. We were given serious attitude when entering our room whilst she was cleaning. We needed to get back to put the baby down for her nap and it was as though we had disrespected her somehow. We're all very friendly people btw so this was uncalled for. We used the DND sign for the remainder of our stay. Also the cabanas are hard to obtain without getting down there at the crack of dawn and the bar ripped us off the first day, seems like the prices are chosen at random. Needless to say we were glad to move to La Cabana for our second week.

10th stay in Aruba and this is the only bad accommodations review I’ve ever made. The advertisement say luxurious bathrooms with oversized tub and shower & it’s literally a shallow small tub with what appears to be original fixture. It looks like section 8 or low income housing. Holes in the walls, grimey, musty smelling and the garden view is of an alley. Laundry machines, grills, and internet are an extra charges. The weekend manager said the only updated rooms are the show rooms for the timeshare sales. What false advertisement! La Cabana, La Quinta, & the two Marriotts are much nicer. I’ve been to all other. Divi is also better. They put led light around the mirror so they shine in your eyes if you try to look into it. It’s all just bad. The people above us have been up since 6:30 2 days in a row dragging chairs and stomping around and the staff won’t adequately address it. It’s a constant run around. Call tomorrow to change rooms, but it’s still got people above you, then call the next day and nobody is in yet to help. I’m exhausted from 2 nights of being woken up by people above us & the closest nice beach is too far for them to take you a chair so you lay in the sand. Hopefully interval will switch us today. I need to rest on this vacation. With only 50% occupancy they can give people better rooms or stagger them so loud families aren’t on top of each other. Worst Aruba stay ever.

I do hope that your subsequent re-assignment to a top floor unit helped to change your experience with us. A very pleasant stay regardless of all the precautions taken due to covid-19. Temperture measurement, use of face mask, hand sanitizers and social distancing. All personell were very happy we stayed there and were very helpfull. Constant cleaning and sanitation.

location location. Away from the action on a beautiful beach. Gorgeous sunsets. A few things to keep in mind: This is an older resort -older building, older guests, primarily timeshare owners. This was more than fine for us but might not be for the younger set if you're looking for action or more modern amenities. There are water aerobics in the pool 2x a week, and not much in the way of kids activities (also fine w us). The restaurant is serviceable and convenient, also on the beach side which is lovely. Some annoyances while we were there included a "planned" electric outage all day on Monday, the day after we did a big grocery shopping. We were told there was a note about in the welcome packet (which we don't read because it's filled with brochures we don't care about etc), but nobody said a word to us about it when we checked in on Saturday and there were zero postings about in the hallway etc... Then they shut the water off on Thursday in the whole resort. That's right, even the toilets didn't work, which was pretty disgusting especially in the bathrooms in the common areas which were left open but turned out to not be functioning either. As for the rooms themselves, they are spacious and clean. Ours could have used some updating in the bathrooms but didn't bother us. Maid service daily was nice for a timeshare. The bed in the main bedroom was comfortable but the twin beds in the second bedroom were like rocks (hard enough to make us think twice about returning, I hope they fix that) and seem smaller than US twins. So that's why our sleep rating is low. Onsite market is minimal and very overpriced, we shopped at Ling and Sons as well as Super Food. Also note that there aren't enough nearly beach palapas ('chickees' in aruba) and people put their towels down at 7am so don't expect to come down at 9 and find any shade on the beach.

This place has the best location on the island. Stayed in room 1222. Was steps from the ocean, the pool, best restaurant on the island in Matthews Beachside Restaurant, walking distance to shops and casino, and many great restaurants within walking distance. The two bedroom units are very large with two bedrooms, two baths, large kitchen and dining area, and TV sitting area with pullout couch. Fantastic place and all of the staff from checking in, cleaning service, security, sales staff, and manager are all so friendly and helpful. Cant say enough about this place.

We rented a two bedroom suite with great ocean front views. This property unlike some further north is very close to the beach so you don’t have to walk through a wide stretch of sand to get to the water. An unexpected plus is that there is some coral located on the swimming beach so you can snorkel right there and enjoy a variety of fish. I thought the rooms were very nicely appointed with balconies off the living room and also off the MBR. Note that none of the one bedroom rooms are beachfront, you will have to book a two bedroom for that. Staff was friendly and helpful. If you stay and this is your first visit to Aruba I would recommend booking a UTV or Jeep tour through the concierge. But confirm availability of tour dates and times as we were booked for a sunset cruise that turned out to be unavailable, and then got a little pushback when we decided to just cancel the booking. I would definitely recommend this property for its location, services and proximity to a restaurant with multiple happy hours daily!

Our one bedrooms offer a more private and tranquil experience for those who just need some R&R with their own private courtyard, pool and hot tub. Those coming in larger groups are much more comfortable in our spacious 2 bedroom units which allow you to be together while still having enough space to yourself. Our concierge services can always be taken advantage of prior to arrival to get all your bookings confirmed ahead of time. Matthews restaurant, with its revamped menu and updated layout is always a hit. We hope to see you back at our resort soon.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom for 1 week with 4 teenagers. It was my daughter's 16th birthday and she loved every minute of the trip and we all enjoyed the resort very much. At a time when most activities were canceled because of the pandemic we still had a wonderful time. The location on the beach is perfect and the staff was always smiling and helpful. Big shout out to Juliet at Matthew's restaurant/bar!! The main pool at the resort was closed for construction but we had access to Aruba Beach Club pool next door. Would definitely return.

We were there in May. The beach to the left of the property was a little rocky, but there was plenty of smooth sand to the right
1128 is in the Ambassador wing which is across a small side street from the main resort. While I dont have photos, I have stayed in that specific unit in the past. You can DM me if you want more info, but its a great unit. First floor, so the pool deck is your patio. The pool deck is very quiet as most guests go to main pool or beach. You are a very short walk from the Alhambra shopping area, and a few restaurants right there as well. The walk to the beach or pool is not very long either. GREAT UNIT for a couple, or a couple with two small children.
