Detailed Reviews
Beach and pool area is beautiful and well maintained. Sand is powder soft and the ocean floor is sandy not rocky. Beach towels are $25 if you don't return them to the towel hut. We stayed in a studio unit with partial kitchen. The kitchen seemed well stocked, but was missing random items. No measuring cups, salt/pepper, dishwasher. The bed and pillows were very uncomfortable, but we were in a non-renovated unit so maybe that will be part of the upgrade? Housekeeping 5 days a week was a nice surprise. The resort has a few good convenience stores. Nice large library. Laundry was $2.50 for wash and $2.50 for dryer. One tennis court was inop. The other was often locked. I had to ask security to unlock it everyday, which got annoying. I was asked several times throughout the week if I was a resort guest. This was while I was sitting on the beach or playing tennis. That also got very annoying, and unwelcome. Overall very good accommodations and would stay here again.

This is a wonderful place to stay on a really nice beach. The resort was spotless and well maintained. Staff was far above friendly and helpful. WiFi ($35 a week) worked well.
The resort is in a great location with numerous restaurants within a close walk and other restaurants within a short taxi ride away.
I would definitely stay here again.

This was our honeymoon. We did not want to be extravagant on this trip, but we wanted to have a lovely honeymoon. Starting with this as a gift helped. We racked up a phone bill, because we were determined to not use our cell phones. This led us to ask people for advice and use maps and tourist guides. The staff and the room had plenty of both. We were able to procure a car right next door at Thrifty. We made full use of the kitchen and had 1-2 meals a day right on our patio overlooking the ocean. The appliances and cookware were in good shape. I was able to make a good cup of coffee every day. The room was comfortable, but trust me, we mostly used it to eat and sleep. We enjoyed snorkeling at the beach, the corals were a little far out and deep, but we are a little experienced too. Covid has things a little different, but given the restrictions and extra hurdles to travel, I do not think we could have been any happier.

As members of the abc club for many years and a resident of Aruba I was excited to go back to the club to enjoy the amenities that my dues pay for. We were stopped at the door and told that we were not allowed towels or to sit by the pool and the only place at all we could go to is the public beach. This is not the welcoming that my family and I were expecting considering that there was no one at the pool and hardly anyone at the beach. What am I paying does for if I cannot enjoy the amenities especially in these times? Were all the welcome back advertisements lies? I would have rated zero if this app would have allowed it.

Overall ABC (Aruba Beach Club) was a very nice place to stay. The resort and the unit were clean but but unfortunately we got an older unit (they are upgrading all the rooms). We were not disturbed by any noise or remodeling, they were very respectful of their guests in this manner. The staff was friendly and helpful for the most part but the front counter did not necessarily 'go out of their way' to make the stay better with making recommendations or helping with reservations. PROS: location, clean rooms and common areas, HOT water with good pressure, stocked well if you were going to cook, etc. CONS: Beds were uncomfortable and the sheets a tad bit scratchy on sunned skin, lack of toiletries (The one trip I did not really pack toiletries because I normally don't really need to, I needed to! They only had wall unit dispensers for hand soap, body wash and shampoo so I had to purchase conditioner because I have long hair and spend a lot of time in the water); a lot of walking to get to our room and lastly, limited parking if you rent a car. Overall I really enjoyed the trip and yes I would stay here again just more aware of what to bring and expect.

Love the beach, the pool, the people. The location is perfect! Alhambra Casino is directly across the street along with a Market, 5 restaurants, Dunkin Donuts, and Baskin Robbins Ice cream store. Down the street, about 2-minute walk, there are more restaurants, .Ellioti's Ristorante Italiano being one of our favorites. You can grab a mini but from the Casino to the high rise area for only $2 per person.

We stayed at ABC for a week in September 2022 and it was our first time. The resort is not large, which made it nice. The lobby is dated, but the rooms were just renovated, with new bathroons and kitchen appliances. The new furniture had not been put in yet, but I was told that would take place within a few weeks. We loved the fact that the beach was outside our door. We stayed on the 2nd floor and had a fantastic view of the ocean and only one flight of stairs to the water.
Ricardo's restuarant was very good and we ate there several times. Happy hours are good at the bar and there is entertainment on Fridays, I think. The location is great for going out. We took the bus to the high rise hotels one day and decided that we were glad we had decided on the low rise section. of the island The ocean is much clearer where ABC is and there was much less conjestion. We are planning our next trip back very soon.

Things are extremely slow at the club right now, but all of the employees are working hard to keep everything clean and safe. It’s a very peaceful time to be here and I’m so grateful! All guests must wear wristbands. There is no problem getting a chickee, anytime of day. Ricardo’s is open and keeping us fed.

The Aruba Beach club does an excellent job of following the COVID restrictions and makes you feel safe in doing so. I’ve stayed at 2 other resorts here on the island this trip and they are by far the best at following protocol. The staff is very professional, friendly and do an outstanding job.

ABC is currently finishing up a room refurbishment. The pool has been updated and new outdoor rest room have been added. The upgraded rooms look new and modern and all rooms are scheduled to be completed by spring. The check in process was easy and if you are staying for additonal weeks they make it very easy. They in conjunction with CDM nextdoor offer an easy covid process to get your test for your return trip home. They will come right to your room and in a few hours you will have your results. Thank you ABC for a great vacation. See you soon.

Unfortunately, we have been put on hold as the island struggles with enough Catholic priests to say Mass. We will try for Easter, but we have no promises.
