We go to Aruba as much as possible and this is one of our favorites. We stayed in the pool suite, it was very clean, we had everything we needed. We walked to the beach everyday, about a 10 minute walk. We’re already booked for September.

My wife and I were fortunate to stay at the Modern Hotel this past April. We love, love, love this hotel. Clean, well maintained, walking distance to Palm beach and as quiet or as busy as you want it. We have stayed here multiple times and it never disappoints. Michael and Amanda are 1st class hosts and the only struggle I have recommending this to others is because it might make it tougher for me to book next time. :) Thanks again Michael, can't wait until our next visit. I love this property so much the pool was open 24 hours the people around us were kind and considered. The place was clean and had everything to offer We will be returning to Aruba soon and will be coming here to stay.

Great place to stay! Relaxing place, beautiful , clean and well thought out property. Great location. Near beaches and restaurants. Quiet neighborhood. The owners do a great job. All of the suites are unique and nicely appointed. This location has house keeping and plenty of common area outside. We recommend .

This place is a little hidden gem! Super clean, the rooms are perfect with everything you need. A short walk to the ocean, shops and restaurants! Also very affordable! Will 100% come back. Highly recommend!

Wonderful property! When we arrived we had no idea where to check in. A friendly guest told us to find a room with a key. We did find a staff member that told us we were in the correct room. Mike did call to make sure everything was OK. We stayed in Tropical suite it was spacious and clean. The air-condition over the bed was noisy but we only stayed 2 nights. Mike told us to use the beach chairs, and we used them at baby beach. Had a great stay.

We recently spent seven days in the Penthouse at Modern Hotel Aruba. We loved the "retreat -feel," tucked in a neighborhood behind the larger resorts. We enjoyed great walking access to the beach and hot spots with the ability to step back and enjoy a quiet morning coffee on the balcony every morning and bubbly or wine during sunsets. Surrounded by wetlands hosting elegant egrets, it couldn't have been any more peaceful. The suite is huge and comfortable, and the landscaping makes the shared spaces feel even more private -- you can engage with other guests if you like or not -- your call! Super Foods and some of the best beaches for snorkeling were easily accessed by car. This hotel was everything we wanted in an island getaway!

Well it is a quant spot behind the bigger on beach hotels so maybe 10 minute to walk to public beaches. The decor is authentic and has colorful flair . It's not fancy big bucks hotel but does the job with big rooms nice designs and fair prices make it the deal of the day .

This was our first time staying at Modern Hotel and it was wonderful. We stayed in the Penthouse Suite and it was perfection. The private balcony was great, the bed size, and oh my goodness, that bathroom!!! The pool area is great... and the check in was easy and simple. Blanca was very helpful and super nice. The location is great..nice and quiet, but just a five-ten minute walk to the major hotels, casinos, etc if you want a little more. We will definitely be back!

Just spent eight days at Modern Hotel Aruba. We had a wonderful stay. Mike the owner and Bianca the housekeeper made sure that our stay was perfect. The rooms were spotless and had everything we needed. The hotel is small with only seven rooms all decorated differently we stayed in the tropical room which was quite a good size with a very large shower . Most rooms go right out to the pool area which is a great feature.. unfortunately ours did not but we knew that when we booked the last room. It was a very short walk from the front of the property to the back. Being a small property you become friends with other guests around the pool which was much nicer than the crowded larger hotels. I would recommend this property..you get the best of both worlds a small intimate property which is only five minutes from Palm Beach where all action is.…
