When in Havana stay at Hostal Balcones Muralla. This small inn is playfully furnished with eclectic antiques and mismatched china. Best of all are the super friendly and hospitable Cubans who run the place. Included in the price, the multi-course Breakfasts are lovingly prepared and artfully presented. Best cocktails ever! Sip a mojito from a teapot while you watch the street life from the balcony.

We stayed in Havana for three nights, and picked a brilliant place to stay. In the middle of 'Old Town' and easy walking distance from most of the main sights. A very quaint place with high ceilings and quirky decor. The breakfast was lovely and plentiful, and the service was outstanding. Thanks to Frank, Rolando, Tony, Juana and Jordania. You guys made our stay all the better. There is a bar under the hotel (not belonging to) worth a visit. Also it's worth sitting on the balcony to watch the old Havana street life. All in all, a great place. Leanne & Brian

Excellent staff. Cozy hostel. Walking distance to almost anywhere in the Old Town. Nice breakfast. Beds can improve. I would recommend booking the room 'Estervina'. Its easier to connect with people at the lobby.

Great staff, great location and a really cool building from the 1800s full of old stuff. Best place to meet like minded travelers and grab a drink and hang out. The staff were super helpful and recommended us great things to see and do in the local area. It is a 5min walk from everything that is worth seeing in the old town.

A fantastic boutique hotel in the heart of Old Havana. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and go out of their way to ensure both your enjoyment and safety. The tour services offered through them are incredible, the trip to Viñales an absolute must. The decor is eclectic, and filled with vintage antiques and art. The amenities function well, and it's very comfortable. Will definitely be back.

This hotel is right in the centre of old Havana. The area is very busy but incredibly safe. The hosts were very nice - especially Frank and Juana were incredibly kind and helpful and came to talk to us every day. The streets are alive and loud until late at night! So if you are a light sleeper maybe request a room that doesn't face the street. For us it was not a problem. Everything is walking distance which is very comfortable! The breakfast was great. Unfortunately the airconditioning is not very strong and when we were there the WiFi was not working. If these things are important to you then double check if it works better before your trip starts.

Wonderful stay in Old Havana. Tons of character and charm. All rooms have private bathrooms and shower (not so common in Havana) and there is a great little bar plus a rooftop to hang out at. Complementary breakfast every morning. Fantastic staff - we made fast friends with Frank, who took great care of us.

I’ve stayed 2 nights in the Josephina room. It’s a very lovely hostal, perfectly located in La Habana Vieja. The people there were so lovely, and the breakfast was perfectly cooked by Juana. Thanks a lot!

Centrally located in old Havana, this hotel has been carefully restored and cared for. The sitting area and bar are on the second floor, rooms on the second and third floors with a rooftop terrace overlooking everything. We had breakfast included in our stay each morning with the best coffee we had our entire stay and the most delicious Guava jam. Each room has it's own balcony with chairs, washroom and new ac unit. We felt safe as they only opened the main door for guests. For us, it was the staff who made this our favourite stop in Havana. Frank and Tony were so friendly and knowledgeable, would love to come back just to chat.

This hostel is absolutely gorgeous and the service is impeccable. Frank and Tony were both very kind and helpful as hosts. They both always had great advice and recommendations for local sights to see. Breakfast was included in our booking and were by far the best breakfasts we had in Cuba.
