Stayed at Casa Maribel for 3 nights. Really had to work hard at our limited knowledge of Spanish to make ourselves understood and to understand Maribel who speaks as fast as a rocket engine. But that made it interesting nonetheless. The room we stayed in was clean, clean bedding, small private bathroom with shower, however no hot water while we... More

I have been here with a friend. The hostel lady is very friendly. She speaks a little bit of English. The beds are comfortable and the bathroom is good. The house beautiful and clean. Recommend staying there!

We stayed for three nights at Casa Maribel. The owner and her daughter are very friendly and helpful people. The location was great, close to the old centre and the revolution square. Casa Maribel is a very clean place, in a quiet area. Definitely a recommendation for your visit in Havana.

We stayed at Maribel for 4 nights we were in Havana. I think this is the best location in Havana. It's exactly between Havana viejo and Havana central so all places you'd like to visit are within walking distance. Maribel's place is clean, quiet and comfortable. This was one of the very few casa's were they cleaned our room and... More

Great place in the heart of the old section of Havana. It is just half a block from Cale Obisbo, a great street for shopping and eating. 2 blocks from the park central and 4 blocks from the capital. Comfortable rooms with good A/C. water pressure was a bit of a problem at times. Great meals offered with breakfast at... More

I thought it would be noisy, but with ac and windows closed it was not a problem. However if smoking bothers you, maribel and her nephew both smoke in living room in the am. In bedroom it is not an issue.

I went without an idea of where the house was (location in the Habana) and I can say that this was the BEST place that I could stayed. Maribel and her daughter Rocio were amazing. Great location, clean rooms, private bathrooms, really close to Plaza de la Revolucion and Teatro Nacional.

We cannot imagine a more wonderful place to stay in Old Havana. The location is superb: a half block from Obispo, the main (all pedestrian) shopping street; about two blocks from "Central Park," with several big, famous hotels (with Internet), the capitol building, the gorgeous old theater, and lots of old-car taxis; and short walks to all the important museums...
