This casa particular is beautifully decorated in modern colonial style, extremely clean and comfortable - European style. Located in a relatively bustling street not far from la Iglesia del Angel, it provides a welcome respite from a day of sightseeing and constant haranguing by the locals (I adore Cuba but find the "idiot tourist trap" attitude to have worsened overtime).... Stayed here for two nights after back from Trinidad. Most of the casas I tried to book were full during the time and it took a while for me to find this casa. My local guide told me this is the dream casa for her as a local too. I was lucky enough to book their suite (not expensive when... More

We are a well travelled New Zealand couple, have backpacked a lot in the past and now over 50 we still enjoy going of grid but now stay in some slightly better places. We like boutique small hotels and this casa particulare was just amazing. The first one we stayed at was pretty good, niece to meet a family and... More

Great room, very helpful and friendly hosts. Perfect breakfast on the roof top every morning. Got a junior suite that was newly renovated and styled with a nice mix of old and new elements. Also a a great location . And quiet at night for a good sleep. Highly recommended.

This well located home stay brought an ease an relaxation to our Havana trip - highly recommend. The manager was very helpful, the decor thoughtful and tasteful. There were only a handful of rooms and so we felt like we were staying with a chic and well connected friend in Havana

I have a travelblog (www.voguenvagabonds.com) and having travelled to many countries where I stayed in different casas, hostels, hotels I can definitely say that Casa Vitrales is one of the best. While traveling around Cuba we had the chance to stay at several casas, but nothing was close to this one. we stayed there for 3 nights in August. The... More

This place is great! We stayed here for 3 nights and it definitely met my expectations. The rooms were stylish and clean and the breakfast was delicious! My only suggestion for the owner would be to provide guests with a map - there is no internet and it took us a couple days before we had our bearing, you can... More

I staid there for three nights in May. It is very well located in the middle of the old town, walking distance to everywhere. The rooms are very clean and cozy and breakfast is served in a fantastic terrace. I had a very good stay. I am a bit concerned as the owner stated upon me leaving that he intended... More

We stayed here on two occasions during our recent trip to Cuba. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Even changed Euros so I wouldn't have to queue up at the exchange. Breakfast on the rooftop was a great way to start the day. The rooms were spacious and clean, though a larger person will have to open both sides... More

We stayed the first two nights of an eleven day tour of Cuba at Casa Vitrales, in the heart of old Havana. The common sitting area is on the second floor and the guest rooms are on the third floor. This is an arrangement designed to test your legs and heart, but necessary to make use of the colonial design... More
