I stayed here in the end of November 2016. I found it to be secure, clean and quiet. The room also had air conditioning. It truly is an oasis of quiet and peace in a hectic, decayed and aggresive city. To get a reservation I think you need to email the convent. I received a reply in a day and...

To end our 2 week round trip in Cuba we decided to find a quieter place to stay over and really hit bulls eye with this place great and clean rooms and nice breakfast in a very quiet environment yet central in the old city whenever we go back we'll stay here again

we couldn't book anywhere direct from England as we hadn't any answer to our requests sent by email to good value hotels centrally located. Until the Convento Hotel Santa Brigida replied within a day. We had great correspondence and everything was clear. The hotel was super clean and the room spacious. The breakfast was changing every day and very good....

It is always a privilege to be able to explore one of Central American, Caribbean or South American colonial cities whilst staying in a current or ex convent. Luckily such hotels abound from Brazil and Colombia, to Havana and Mexico. This is a particularly well located hotel in old town, close to all places of interest, efficiently run by the...

This functioning convent, turned part-hostel, can only be reached on foot. you'll need a guide. It is located only a few meters from Plaza Vieja, and close to all things old-Havana. The building is lovely, and populated by nuns, helpers, fish and caged birds. Gardens and quiet spaces abound. Our room was huge, with basic but adequate bathroom. We had...

This is a great spot for peace and quiet yet close to many places to eat and see. The nuns were friendly and the security is good. The rooms were very clean and there is an elevator in the building. The breakfast is very basic, if the add to that it will make the experience even better.

The pluses are 1. Well located near the city centre 2. Well maintained historic building 3. Friendly but poor English-speaking staff 4. Comfortable beds The minuses are 1. Only lukewarm-warm water is available from the showers and taps 2. Breakfast is OK and filling butlimited in choice. 3. No wifi available 4. No room safes Overall I would recommend this...

Our tour organizer has reserved this hotel for us (we did a biking holiday in Cuba). It is very special to stay in a convent , to hear the morning prayers ; so quiet in the courtyeards. The rooms are very convenient , service is good. The breakfast is very simple, but ok. You are right in the city centre...

I surfed internet and found this place. I stayed here solo for 3 nights in Dec 2015. I was so glad to have this accommodation which is located inside a Convent which accepts guests to provide hospitality in return for daily rate. The room rate is comparable to the other casa in Habana. It is located right in the centro...

I didn't expect such a great location to stay in when we arrived to Havana. The convent is a very peaceful and quiet building in the heart of the area Vieja. We were able to walk everywhere from there and during the evening it's a nice location to stay outside in the square to listen to some live Cuban music...

“if you want a quiet room, ask - as some of them do open on to the noisy street. We didn't mind though, as it meant we had a window to the outside. (Room 8). I think they all have air con and there is a lift the the second floor.”
